Hello, I just started with BC and am waiting on my beauti case! I am super excited to start! I have a 6 year old and 7 week old and really want to be home for them! Anyways! I have sent out emails and posted on myspace and facebook pages about starting my business with BC and asked if anyone would be interested in hosting a SPA at their home with friends and family.. but NO ONE replied...... any suggestions? I am seriously already doubting the fact I spent money we didn't have and am not having any luck with bookings..................... HELP

Make it a point to let them know all the free gifts they can earn. Have you received your logon info for beautinet.com yet? I don't know if they e-mail that all to you now or what. If not, your recruiter or director can give you your consultant id, and with that and your last 4 of your ssn you can get your password and log in. Then look up what the hostess rewards are. So tell the people you're asking that they can get a free neckwrap (just let them know you haven't received it yet, you can order them and everything else once you have a party), the spa treatment of their choice from a list for 40% off, earn FREE product credit based on what their guests buy, and half off items for completing certain task. I give half off items, because then I'm not paying anything. Some people give out mini items, others give out extras they buy at the store like back massager things, spa socks, etc.
But that's the thing you want to do, is catch their eye letting them know they can get FREE stuff when they do this. Most people have no idea what you mean when you say "host a spa" either, so giving a little description of a few of the treatments may also help.
And if that all fails, just invite people over to your house for one. A, come over and help me try out all this new stuff I'm getting! Sometimes you'll get sales from that, but you really want to just spark their interest and get them to book from there. It's a lot easier to book during a spa then to book people who have no idea what you're talking about.

I've heard of "Pop the Box" party. If you can get 2 or 3 of your girl friends to come over, open the box - your kit, and play with the products. My director came to my home and held my first demo/training spa.

Do not be afraid to do personal consultations and the spa around the table. Of course we all want to book the spas with 8 or more people but in the case where people might be reluctant then start with the others. Do not count only on family friends sometime they are your worst customers. Offer it to the nurses at your pediaticians office to.

Honestly, my friends NEVER respond to facebook. You have to call them and make it personal. Say, "I just started my own mobile spa business and I thought of you. I would LOVE to do a spa for you!" what I like about this is you won't sound like you are begging. It sounds like you'll be pampering THEM, not them doing a "favor" for you.
I've even called those facebooks friends that I don't even really talk to any more. I tell them I had been thinking of them and how I'd like to treat them to a spa. Or like someone suggested invite 2 or 3 people over close to you for a practice spa. If you want more people tell them to bring a friend. You could give everone who brings a friend a gift or discount. And sometimes, I will tell you, your closest friends and family won't be supportive. My own sister won't even have a spa! But I've ended up just going around it and asking her friends to have a spa. So in the long run I feel as though SHEs the one missing out, not me. If she would have had a spa, all her friends bookings would have rewards in great rewards. So don't let a few "no's" get you down!

Have your own Celebration Spa at your house and call it "You Deserve Some Me Time" or something really fun and cute. Have a theme and have a dessert bar or some fun drinks. Decorate like you are having a kids birthday party. Do cute and fun invitations. And invite all your friends, family, co-workers - think of you FRANK list. Make it fun and inviting.

Start with your FRANK LIST! Gather some of your friends, check w/any moms! Where do you shop? Check everywhere you go! Tell them about thenew INSTANT FACE LIFT and don't pass up an opportunity to speak to people face to face. Try one on one's, that's a great way to start w/your client base. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to get on the phone. Get your FRANK list going, and write a script of what you want to say be confident in your words and make it sound more like you're doing them a favor (which I feel is true...what woman doesn't need an hour of fun pampering girl time?) more than they are doing you a favor.
I wish you the best and please update or let us know what more we can do to help you. Also contact your director for her ideas. We've all been where you are and we all know that in the begining it can be scarry and uneasy but know that you've made a very wise choice!!! Edited by: TifAnnaJack
