have a question about the extra strength masque- have been using the RE9 masque in place of this one during the 10 days to better skin - just got in the extra strength one and tried it tonite- does this masque burn anyone? man it made my eyes burn and my skin -- the thermal fusion doesnt bother me - but this did--
TIA

hmmm.....the ESM burned me too but not to the degree that you've described. I think I actually like it better than the Re9 masque but maybe it'll depend on how my skin is feeling. I felt that the ESM was stronger for lack ofa better description.

When I was using Arbonne, the ESM made my eyes water a little bit, but I found that if I put on a
thinner layer it didn't do it as much. It has never made my skin
burn. The thermal enzyme masque really</span>
burned my skin, I don't like the way it feels at all. I love the extra
strength masque. I haven't tried the RE-9 masque yet, is it a drying
mask like ESM?

the extra strength masque stings on my skin, someone said once that if it stings/burns your skin is too dehydrated to use the ES and you should use instead the Mild M or the RE9 one ?
the thermal fusion enzyme masque does not burn my skin but makes it really hot, it feels terrific to me and is one of my favorite products

The xtra strength burns my eyes a bit until it dries. I think I have been using too much. I usually just fan my face for a minute until it is somewhat dry! Love this product & the thermal fusion.

I just used this for the first time the other day. LOVED it! My face felt like porcelain!!! Didn't burn my eyes or skin. I also read that you may be dehydrated if it stings/burns. It was the first time I had heard that.

Thanks for all the great info- I have very oily skin so would not have thought I would have any problems-- will switch back to the RE9 masque (which I love) and try the ESM again later- maybe not use as much next time-

I have not tried it yet, but MAN OH MAN did my face burn when I tried the thermal fusion!!! It felt like my face was on fire for about 2 hours and it was a little scary! Has anyone else had this reaction? I expected some burning, but not like that. Maybe I just have super sensitive skin.

Actually, to me the TFEM feels like a "good old fashioned sunBURN!!!!" - yup, the kind you thought was cool to have!smileys/smiley2.gif Now I'm that much older and wiser so I know my sunburning days are over!!!! But I love the TFEM!!!!!

I felt sunburned for about an hour after my first TFEM. Well worth it considering the way my skin looked the next day.

My order just came today and I used TFEM for the first time. Well, it burned and I thought, okay it's working. Then 4 minutes later I rinsed my face with cold water.
Now mind you, I did not put any around the eye area or on the bridge of my nose.
I look like I've been sitting in the sun for 10 hours wearing sun glasses. smileys/smiley7.gif(this is how red my face is)
I sure hope this is temporary. And my face is hot. I keep putting my cold hands on my face to cool it down.

It is temporary. I use the toner afterwards, it helps pull the sting out. Usually my redness goes away after 20-30 minutes, definitely a process to do in the evening.

That is how it was for me last night when I tried a sample of it. It did mellow out, and I think it did something so I'm going to try it again and see what happens.

I use the RE9 masque and the TFEM-- I love the way they feel immediately afterward, but they both seem to make me breakout. I feel like I need some sort of deep cleansing masque. Anyone else with this problem? What do you use?

Do you use it in the shower? I put mine on in the shower and leave it on after I get out for a total of 15 minutes. It seems like the steam from the shower "activates" it.

Teresa,
Do you mean the Extra Strength mask? that's a great idea beacuse your pores would be 'open and steamed', just like you were to get an actual spa facial.

After my "sunburn" last night, I woke up this morning and my face felt awesome!!!!
How often can you use the TFEM? I can't wait to do it again!

I meant with the TFM but I am guessing it would work just as well for the Extra Strength also.

The TFEM used to burn my face, but never my eyes. I really like the effects. On the other hand, the ESM has never burned my face, but it continues to burn my eyes everytime I use it. My husband makes fun of me when I wear it because I'll use one eye to look at things while the other eye is closed. Once the open eye begins to burn too much I'll close that one and open the eye that's been closed. I'll keep doing that until the masque has dried. Sometimes I'll even set a timer and lay down to take a 15 or 20 min. nap.

Quick update on ESM- tried it again tonite- during the wk drank extra water to make sure my h2o levels were up and was more hydrated- made sure to put on the nite cream a little heavier--
also when I put the masque on tonite - put on a very thin layer instead of the thicker one I used the first time- eyes did nto sting as much and skin did not burn- so hopefully have found a compromise t using this masque
