What games do you use? What do you do for prizes? How many games per party do you do? How many prizes do you give away per party?

Lots of questions; I know :)
Thanks!
Neha

I tried the dice game yesterday with a grand prize of the tender touch set and small prizes of the foot files. I had 6 women and 4 booked! I'm going to play this every time now!

I was just about to respond to you about the dice game. Since I am new to doing parties other than a few candle parites I have done for my candle business I have not done any parties. I had a consultant (an experienced direct salesconsultant) do our candle parties. I got the Dice Game info off of the Sensaria site -- archives workshops. There is a list of games on here as well that look good too. I can't remember where I saw it. It is on one of the threads I believe. I printed it out. When I find it, I will post the link.

That is great news regarding the bookings! Wow! I will definitely consider playing that game at my first Sensaria party. There is a girl that talked about it on Sensaria training and she really promotes doing that game. She said that it REALLY helped with her bookings. I need all the help I can get when it comes to getting party bookings.

I will let you know how it goes for me. :)Edited by: HollyinWA

Good luck! I've been having some trouble getting more than 1 or 2 bookings from each party so I thought I would give this a go. The girls were so excited to be doing a game with such a great prize and they wanted to book to get it right away. I did it at a party last week and none of the girls even wanted to play because they knew they didn't want to book. So I guess it depends on the crowd.

I also gave out play money for being on time and for answering questions about my presentation. Then I let them choose envelopes based on the most money to least. Each envelope contained things like $2 off, free shipping, $3 off, $5 off and Free Lip Balms. I had the host select the number of envelopes for the number of guests and they each picked one of those. I ended up giving 1 person the lip balms (there was only one of those in the batch), 1 free shipping, 2 $2 off, and 1 $5 off. Everyone was happy to be getting a discount so that worked out even though it wasn't the original plan.

My original plan was the envelope with the Free Lip Balms (since I don't have it) was to be passed to the person on the right every time I said FREE during my presentation. I forgot to do it so I added it into the other envelopes. The other envelopes were supposed to be auctioned off with the play money but I just decided to do it the way I did because of time. I think i would next time do something different, like use the play money to buy boxes on a bingo board and call out numbers for prizes.

Good luck!

Thanks, Neha, for the tips! I have a lot of preparation to do.
I can't find that game thread. There is a game on there that sounds like a lot of fun. It is the Left, Right Game. Not sure if it would be a game to help with parties but it would be fun and there are little "seeds" that are planted in the story that has the words left and right in it. Edited by: HollyinWA

I'm not a huge "game" gal but I've played my share of games over the years. The dice game can be great. I've also used the chocolate game before. One "game" I think is a must for your spa is one where guests can ask questions about what you do. Mary may be to shy to ask but Jenny asks the questions, you answer it and then Mary is thinking more about joining you.... but you have to follow up with asking every person, every time at check out. I have started giving a mango lotion pack to each woman who asks a question during this game.
I give a small prize (foot file and a foot care sample card) for my drawing slip winner.

I'm still figuring out what works - I'm doing 3 games per party.

1. Chocolate game (like the dice game but with chocolates in a bag)
Prizes: 2 $10 off coupons for that night, 1 Premier Membership (grand prize), 50/50 book a spa or small prize - foot file, sample, scrunchie

2. Ask about my business, or a good question about a product & the Premier Membership Q&A - get a ticket.
Prize: go into a drawing for a medium prize - lip balm, grasscloth bag, 4oz lotion

Sometimes I break my ticket game into 2 games - I guess that's where I feel like I'm playing 3.
