I have seen several postings for jobs that say unresearched. I am wondering just what would be considered researched? And if I were to find a posting myself, how would I go about researching it to make sure it's legit?

I think unresearched means someone found the ad and is just posting it for others to see. Personally, I'd recommend you do your own research, so every opportunity is researched.
Maybe hop on google (search for the company name), or ask others here on the forum about an opportunity.Edited by: danasurvey

Dana is right. Unresearched means that we do not know if the job/company is legit. Usually these ads don't have any company details. If the ad mentions company details, google would be the best way to go.
If you want to apply to unresearched job ad send in a brief resume minus all the personal details and try to find out more about the company by asking questions in your cover letter.
