When did you start? I just started in March. I'm still in my first 30 days.
How did you get asked (from a friend, at a party, etc)? My good friend asked me to come to a q&a opportunity thing. Rob was there & now I'm all signed up.
What's your "why" that keeps you going? I'm a post-partum depression survivor & need a reason to get out of the house. I need a challenge that's more than getting the laundry done. I also need to make up for income missing since I stopped working last year.
Do you have recruits? How many? I have one recruit.
How long have you used Sensaria? almost 2 years
How'd you first hear about the company? In 2003 the secretary at my job started selling it. I had a terrible allergic reaction & didn't pay attention to it until 2007. That's when I really started using it.

Very nice to meet you and congrats on your new Sensaria business! I have been using and been a rep for Sensaria for just over 4 years now. I have had times where I've worked my businessconsistently (like now) and times when I've let it coast (when I had my last son). My "why" or driving force has always been to both develop myself, support the Charities I work withand to provide for my boys while maintaining being a SAHM. In the past I wanted to provide the "extras" , now with two sons on the Autism spectrum I want to be able to provide all the "extra" intervention they need to have the best outcome. So what I wanted to accomplish with my HBB has certainly changed over the last 4 years.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif
I actually found Sensaria from an internet search. I spent about 3-4 months searching for the right products and opportunity for me. I found Sensaria, joined and haven't ever looked back. Love the products and the unparalled comp plan! I was the first active rep in Kansas so I had never seen a spa experience before I started. I only started recruiting a year ago (not the path I would recommend to othershttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif) and already have a nice sized team who are doing well.

I went to a party and loved the products. I wanted much more than I could afford so I signed up to get the kit and make some money selling to my family. I didn't intend it to be a serious business but it did so well and I fell so in love with the products that here I am with my business :)

I do this because it helps me contribute to the family income while staying at home with my 2 kids and it gives me the opportunity to get out and meet with other women without the kids.

Great topic! I keep meaning to come back here and post but life has been really busy lately. I probably won't have much time for the boards for the next few weeks. I have my big open house party scheduled for May 3rd (Sensaria's 8th Anniversay) and it is coming along nicely. Free chair massages, free wine, free food, spa hand treatments (from me) plus handbags and jewelry. That same weekend is a big booth event where I can also consign my kids clothes/toys. I have to prep the kids things to sell and get all my stuff ready too. Then I have another one the following weekend too!

My friend and I were trading parties and my rep knew I had recently quit working. She heard that I was looking for something to get me out of the house. She probably asked at a party but it took a few meetings over coffee to make that decision!
What's your "why" that keeps you going?
My why is my family. I want to contribute to my son's education. Also, it really is necessary for me to get out of the house. I need time to myself and reconnect with other women. I love my children but I love them even more when I get home after a spa party. I also like sharing that opportunity with other women to tell them that they absolutely deserve to be pampered and take some time for themselves.

I have two right now but they are not active. In fact, they never qualified either! LOL! I don't know them since they signed up online.

I did not really get asked. A friend was a consultant for the Body Shop At Home and found out suddenly that they were closing the At Home department. She was in shock. She got together with a very successful Body Shop leader and searched for a new company. They found a few choices and decided to go with Sensaria.They were very impressed with their program and training. Thishappened at a time when I was (still am) extremely burned out fromworking so hard in my candle business and getting discouraged -- just could not risk taking the opportunity to take my business to the next level. I needed to make extra money but could not work any harder (long story).She encouraged me to look for a product that I could sell on the side that I did not have to make! I thought about a couple otheravenues (Tastefully Simple, Demarle, etc.) but decidedto join the Sensaria team with my friend. Body care does go well with candles. So, here I am! I am still the candle lady as well, but I have to say it hasfeltgreatnot to feel so pressured in my candle business to make enough money. I can't even begin to explain how much worka candle business is when it isjust you doing it all. I am still pretty new to have the "why I keep going story" but I am determined to make this work so I can make a supplemental income to help support our family so I do not have to go back out into the work force. Our two girls are 10 and 12.
