Dear fellow WAHMs. I am a licensed PI and currently work outside the house and for the last 3 months been making a part-time income from home working as an IC for another company. My IC work I can do entirely online but obviously if I got my own work I would make better money. Problem is I am a web retardsmileys/smiley18.gif

I own the domain "deadbeatdetective" and have been playing around on wahmdrive's free trial:

http://www.deadbeatdetective.wahmdrive.com/page/page/2974086 (http://www.deadbeatdetective.wahmdrive.com/page/page/2974086.htm) .htm

When it comes to making a nice looking website and writing text for the web I don't think I have what it takes. Also, I need to find a way to have an order form and way to accept payment on line and have not figured that out yet.

I would really appreciate input from you all who do web design. Would I be better off just paying the wahmdrive professional design fee? What features do I need to make this site more professional?

I realize that paying wahmdrive they still want me to write the text and the text at this point seems to be a bit lacking.

I would love to have a simple basic website that I can start with and add to as I grow (so must be simple).

My 3 basic online service would be finding people, background checks, and the bank account searches. I would like to add links to govt. agencies, child support information, etc. to help people find their own info too.

If I needed to pay for help on figuring out how to get an order form and payment acceptor set up and punch up my layout and help with the text, how much would something like this run?

Many thanks.

Have you thought about running a php site or wordpress site?

There are plenty of free templates out there for these sites and they are very easy to learn and grow as you biz grows.

If you want more info just contact me.

Join Bravenet! It's free and has hundreds of templates to choose from! I recently finished my website not that long ago, check it out! www.queeniespieceofheaven.com (http://www.queeniespieceofheaven.com) and I also have a gallery at www.zazzle.com/QueenofHarts (http://www.zazzle.com/QueenofHarts)*. I would love to help you anyway I could, links are nothing to worry about, they're easy!I'm almost positive that Bravenet also has forms for payment too. You can find that link on my website. As far as text goes, the templates are made of gifs and jpegs. The gif's are small and can be animated and the jpeg's are larger and can't be animated. You can use whatever text you like on either of them because they will have to be uploaded from your ftp space to your server. Whatever isn't a gif or a jpeg is where you will put your text. It's really easy, once you understand it, lol.I wouldn't mind helping you at all, just let me know! I started out with hardly anything on mine, now I have stuff everywhere, lol...it doesn't take long.

Drop me a line anytime smileys/smiley9.gif
