Hey guys

I have had 4 shows now and I finally got one booking from my show last night which I am very excited about. I am feeling discouraged though because I hear that average parties are $500 and I can barely get the $250. Two times now I've had to shell out money so they can get their $100 for$20. I dont mind doing this, beause it is me just buying a product to use for myself, but I don't understand why I can't find people to buy the products. Last night's party there were 10 people there and my total orders were about $235. I can't seem to get people to buy any of the skin care systems. I do the RE9 on their hands and they can tell a difference, but will just buy one product, like the eye cream or lift. And many of the people seem to be into the aromatherapy and just buy one thing. And many say, I like what i'm using. (Mary Kay, clinique, neutrogena, just to name a few)

I went into this just wanting to make a few hundred a month to help out with bills, and i have already done that, but I know what potential this company has and I know how wonderufl the products are but i just can't seem to get people to buy them! (or book shows easily).

Any suggestions or words of advice? And I have done sampling ot many people that say they can't see a difference, or that it's too expensive. I live in a very unsaturated area so its great, but not sure what im doing wrong...

thanks!

in your classes, refer to "systems" and "sets"

try to Pup the guests before the class, and give a basket full of products to the host so she can get excited and pass her excitement on to her guests.

let them know that these products are concentrated and will last 5-6 months or even longer.

lead with the business opportunity first, usually people are more likely to commit to trying the products

ask people, "who do you know..." instead of "would you..." Takes the pressure off of them.

we all have our tough times, makes the reward sweeter! If it's not a challenge the outcome won't be as cherished! Don't give up- it really only takes afew key people to start that momentum. Always ask for referrals, always follow-up. Make friends everywhere you go, introduce yourself and start asking questions, eventually they'll ask you about you!

I would "puppy", even if you can only afford 1 or 2 sets. When people get to use full size product for 2 or 3 days (I do 3 days because of my travel schedule) - they love it and want to buy the whole set. I've sold 6 sets already!

sample packs don't compare to the actual full sized bottles!

Have you spoken with your sponsor or upline?

Michele,

When I hand out samples packs, I always include a "how to use" sheet that includes telling the client to REALLY take a good hard look at their skin before they begin the program. Make note of fine lines, wrinkles, color, texture. That way, they have a reference point when they take another look a few days later. My skin was pretty good before Arbonne (lucky gene club) but I made a point of noting its imperfections before getting on the Basics. And I did see a difference. People withoutnoticeable problems that miraculously vanish with Arbonne may not be seeing the subtle improvements.

Just a thought...

Keep doing what you are doing and don't be attached to the
results. Spend time listening to Learn N Burns and the Product
Knowledge CDs and the Basic Consultant Training CDs. There are
times to sow and times to harvest. Getting discouraged only makes
you feel desperate, which people can seem to smell (and run
from!). My parties usually average more like $300, but I have a
group that takes turns having parties and they almost always get to
like $750.

It's like Cecelia says, If someone told you that you just had to do 500
things for your business, no matter what the result of each individual
act, in order to make it to NVP, then you could do those things without
being attached to the results. Just focus on doing the things
that the people who are successful in the company have done and you
will eventually be successful too. It sounds like yo uhave
already experienced some success. Try to focus on that.

Good Luck!

At your parties really focus on your hostess! Let everyone know what she's getting for being a hostess and thank them in ADVANCE for thier orders...and say something like... I want to thank everyone for their orders in advance. Everyones orders will be combined together and hopefully we can help (Hostess name) meet her goal so she can get her 80%discount today...

Again at the end of the presentation thank them in advance, this reminds them that their orders will be helping out the hostess.

Hope this helps,

Sandy

It sounds like you are doing great! The average party is never average. Sometimes I have one person show and they spend $500. Sometimes 10 people show and I only sell $150.Keep doing what your'e doing and you'll see results. Be gladsmileys/smiley1.gifthat you are in anunsaturated area! You will get alot of no's but you'll also get some yes's. We all get alot of no's. When people say it's too expensive tell them they can get it wholesale. they really like a bargin!
