Hi Everyone,

Well, we have officially had 3,000 consultants reserve their Taste Of Home
Entertaining kits, and that is the limit the company will release until May
31st. Of course some will drop out, so those who register from now on
are on the waiting list, and will receive those newly freed-up kits on a
first come first served basis...

So here is what I need help with...

How do I "encourage" people to continue to sign up and wait for their kits
to arrive? You KNOW how impatient people are, and I need some of your
creative ideas to get people to go ahead and join and build their groups
anyway... They will release 700 kits at the end of May, 700 at the end of
June, and 700 at the end of July, and then another 5,000 on August 1 for
the Fall selling season... How do I keep them engaged, and involved
without their kits? AAAAAAAAkK!

Wow Nondy, Congrats to TOH for hitting 3,000. smileys/smiley32.gif When I saw that number on their website back in December I sort of laughed thinking that they thought they would get 3,000 reps before even opening. I guess they are laughing back at me now. LOL I'm so excited for all of you and wish you all the best of luck. I can't wait to see their catalog. I'm in the market for a new dinnerware set and I'm hoping they have something that will work with my theme. smileys/smiley1.gif

Tamra,

Thanks so much for the well-wishes, that's very kind of you...

Are you already working with a Taste Of Home Consultant? If you're not,
please PM me, and I'll put you on my list for a catalog.

I am not sure if what I say will help but I would emphasize all the positives about the opportunity.

I would again explain whata "one of a kind opportunity" this is.

Is it possible for you to send out a newsletter type with friendly facts and info. to keep interest going while they wait for their kit??

As you already know, those who really want it and see the opportunity will do what they need to do. Those who don't - maybe the timing is not right or something.

Jen,

I hadn't thought of it quite like you put it, so thanks so much for your help.

We do have great team training in place with lots of information available,
but you're right. I suppose I shouldn't fret so, but you know how it is smileys/smiley5.gif

With much appreciation,

Nondy

Just keep advertising your TOH business as if you were in any other Party plan business- you'll eventually continue to get new reps. Remember- TOH is still very brand new- so that's a plus!

It's hard to believe that the first 3,000 are already gone! It's amazing, isn't it?! I don't feel like we are going to run into too many obstacles with people having to wait though. I believe if they are TRULY interested, once they see the opportunity and the awesome products, they will signup without hesitation, just like we did. It is hard to wait - we can definitely vouch for that! smileys/smiley2.gif

It will just take some hard work on our part to keep them training and moving forward in the ways that they can. I think the lapse actually gives us some very valuable time to help coach them to be awesome consultants. They have time to fill up their calenders, learn about the company, get organized, start recruiting, etc., while they wait. When they do get their kits, they will be ready to go full force!!! It's awesome!!

Nondy,

The way I've been explaining it is...

"Imagine where you would be right now if you had joined The Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, or Southern Living at Home after they had been in business for only a month or 2. Wouldn't you like to be Consultant #3500? 5000? or even 10,000?... with a company like that?" It's a great visual.

This company will be huge, and we are all lucky to be getting involved even in the first year.

Harvard did a study on DS companies, and found that if you get in as one of the first 50,000 Consultants you are still on the ground floor.I can't remember the exact findings, but if anyone else knows, I'd be intereseted in hearing it again.

Good luck,

Devon

Devon,

I am curious to know what an "Advance Team" member is? Is that like me
being on "The Home Team", I wonder?

Also waht is a "New Consultant Trainer"? Is that a special designation, or is
it what we all do with our new consultants?

Thanks for your reply above, I appreciate it!

Nony

I was wondering the same two things!

I look forward to your reply. :)

The Advance Team was the title for those of us who werecommitted to join with a launch team member beforeenrollement began. I don't believe it's anything "official", but it's what our team used to designate us. We are the "E-Team" in comparison to you being on the "Home Team".

As for the New Consultant Trainer, I have been highly successful attraining New Consultants for 6 years and although I have no "degree" or "certification" in this, I do have a very high rate of qualifying and keeping new Consultants. I definitely consider it something that belongs in my title because it's the biggest, best and funnest part of my job. I am a relationships person, and I love working one on one with each of my downline (my entire downline) to help them move ahead and see them grow to incredible heights... achieving their dreams along the way. Wow... that sounds sappy. Anyway, hope that answers your questions.
