Hello i am new to the board. I started to watch my friends two sons in dec. One of the boys who is 4 is very strong willed,defiant,and wild! I think he is acting out because what he gets home from what I hear is negative attention.
Should I do alot of praise with him . The other day I tried and he behaved so well for about two hours. I need some help because next month he will be staying here longer throughout the day.

Yes.. positive attention is a must. You can really change that little boys life.

I agree...as sad as it is you will be his light! Let him help you do things and feel important and independent and give him TONS OF PRAISE! He is just gonna fall in love with going to your house!!!

I really feel sad when I hear this, because I know a girl with this problem. But you can definitely change him and I appreciate whatever you are doing. Good Luck!
