I've spent the last couple of years setting up my web site, registering my business, and experimenting with my soy candles... I am now at a point where I am pleased with my candle jar/wax/wick/fragrance combinations - they burn completely, and almost completely soot free... So now, I want to quit my crappy job and start running my business full time! (I am hoping to do that by this summer) Failure is not an option, I want to hit the ground running and have a couple of different ways of selling my products (wholesale, craft fairs, web site, etc.) Today it was suggested to me that I also think about doing fundraisers. I hadn't really thought of this before and know very little about it - For those of you that do fundraisers - what do you do? Do you sell special candles for fundraising? Do you go to craft fairs and just slap a sign in front saying a portion of the funds will be donated? Or are there specific events, other than craft fairs, for this sort of thing? How much per candle is generally donated? smileys/smiley5.gif
Sorry about all the questions!! smileys/smiley29.gif
Thank you!

Hi sherri- As a designer with HGP we DO candle Fundraisers! We usually contact schools, youth groups, etc with flyers or brochures & any FR information that we have-and we do our best to assist them with information that they may need. They then are provided with the necesary forms(should they do a FR)take orders & turn in the $ to the Designated Designer, who in turn submitts the order to the Company. Hope this helps give you a rough idea- kinda.
