I understand that people can move up faster than their upline. Does anyone know how this happens? I am so confused about this. Any input will help. Thanks again!

Well, for example, your upline may just sponser 4 people and thats it. While you on the other hand really work your business and recruit 10 business builders and help them recruite business builders and so on. Your upline would benifit from having you on her team, but she would only get the benifit of recieveing commissions up to 4 levels deep, because thats how wide she went, where as you could move up in rank because you are not only building deep, but also wide. Make sense? She may have only recruited you, and never get past consultant, while you build a team and become a RVPsmileys/smiley4.gif

I had that happen on my team actually this last month. My cousin does it mostly for the discount and does her $100. Because she didn't have $1,000 in personal sales a lady below her just went DM and is going for AM now.

So let's say she is 6 wide, does she get commission on 6 levels deep?

You only get paid past your 3rd generation (3 deep) once you reach NVP. THen you can get paid on up to 6 deep. All others get paid 3 deep if they are 3 wide. HTH smileys/smiley2.gif

at the other levels if you have more than 3 wide then you should bepromoting tothe next level of managment

for example.... you are EAM and have 3 AM direct to you... with all maintaining their areas, you will have qualified for RVP

lets say you are District and you have a BB on your team who has reached district, so you are now an Executive District and she is your first generation District. You both have to maintain your own districts now (2,500), but you can still use up to $10,000 of her volume for your qualification to Area. So lets say she has, over her 2 months qualifying for Area, she has made her 24,000- you can use 10,000. But you still need 14,000 to qualify for Area yourself, over that 2 month period. This is in place so no one can "ride the back" of one or two people. If you have 2 going Area the same time you are going for it... then you will still need 4,000 yourself (you and those not in their downlines).

so yes, you can pass your sponsor and promote higher than your uplineEdited by: cassandra

So, is this why 4 is the best BB number? So that you can take 10,000 from each of them (say, if they were all going for Area?)
