I think it went ok, I don't think I prepared very well but next time I will do better. I don't think I got the word of mouth out there very well. I had a stressful week though prior to the party so it was hard to get it out plus my work is very strict about that anyway.

But my daughter helped me and she was the "Jewelry Princess" and I was the "Jewelry Lady" smileys/smiley1.gif

I had it at this meeting place for different businesses, wedding receptions, etc...can meet...The meeting room was beautiful and perfect though! It was a boardroom type room, but I just moved all the chairs and put up my Jewelry and Appetizers for the Kickoff.

I sold $200 in Jewelry and Booked a Show. I also got some leads for the future (maybe 4 or 5) from my drawing.

My Sponsor said there is always a lesson learned from doing a show if it doesn't go right - I agree with her. My Lesson from this was to have a better word of mouth. My next Kick Off type show, I am going to make sure at least 50 people know.

You did great! Just because it's not a $1000 party, doesn't mean it didn't go well. You got another party booked (good!), you got some leads for the future (good!) and you had a great time with some great ladies and your sweet 'lil helper! You dida great job and it's only going to get better!

Congratulations!

How fun to see pictures and I have to agree, having your little "princess" with you makes everything a little sweeter!

You'll have to partner up with a Tastefully Simple gal and maybe she can provide some food samples for your guests and you guys could do a "duel show" of sorts, Jacquelyn. Great way for both of you to get business and you to save on the cost of the food.

Happy second show!!

Does CL still have those tiaras? If so you should get one for the Jewelry Princess to wear when she goes to your shows. Its so cute, and then you can tell your guests they can become a jewelry queen and earn their own tiara - not sure what the price was I think it was $20 or else I wouldn't have bought them, but maybe its more and that means they cost you $10, but you could offer incentives, such as you will crown them queen with their own tiara to keep when the book on one of your preferred dates, have 5 orders and 1 booking before the show or when their show reaches x$ in sales - and make a big production of crowning them either at the begining or when they reach the goal.

I was just curious how many people showed up and your sales based on how many people? When did your latest Cookie Lee catalog came out?
