Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to know if you are a rep for a couple of companies, do you have 1 generic e-mail address? what about your own website, do you haveone website name that covers what you sell?
I'm just thinking down the line, that if I wanted to create my own website linking say my candle company with my jewelry, I would want a domain that didn't just say "candles" or "jewelry" and that I would just have a regular e-mail account say under aol.
I'm thinking it might be easier than having different e-mail accounts for different companies...
any thoughts?

I have seen several reps with one website and links to them all and one email addy. I am thinking of doing that since I have several home biz's. You can also just create an email for your website and have it forward to your reg. email.
Congrats on your candle company by the way! Do you make your own jewelry?
Best wishes,

Rebecca( I think with White lily Candles) has WAHMfusion.com-a great site linking a lot of
business' together. I link my jewelry site on my gift site and
use the same email for all. I do have separate ordering sites for Gabby
Goodies, Azante Jewelry but I have links to all on my gift site. I just
ordered business cards that say I am an independent representative and
then list my companies, one generic informational card with no
logo.

I have one central site that I link to all of my individual sites (www.WAHMFusion.com (http://www.WAHMFusion.com))
I also have my own domains for all of my companies (ex. www.WhiteLilyProducts.com (http://www.WhiteLilyProducts.com) is my White Lily site, www.GourmetIngredients.com (http://www.GourmetIngredients.com) is my Gourmet To Go site, www.BabyCrazyToys.com (http://www.BabyCrazyToys.com) is my Baby Crazy site)
I have individual emails for each site (Rebecca@WAHMFusion.com (Rebecca@WAHMFusion.com), Rebecca@WhiteLilyProducts.com, etc. but since I use outlook they all go to the same place. I keep the WAHMFusion one as my main email address though. If I wanted to forward them all to the same address (either the WAHMFusion email address, or perhaps a yahoo email address, for example) I could do that too.
Wow, I am confusing smileys/smiley36.gif
Edited to add: I have plans on building www.WAHMFusion.com (http://www.WAHMFusion.com) into something more - but in the meantime I use it as a "holding place" of sorts for linking to all of my other sites...I just don't have the time to do everything that I want to do right now!Edited by: whitelily

I think it's much easier to have one website for all of your businesses. Just saves the hassle of working more than one website, answering different emails through different addresses.

You could use your First and last name or a combo. My site is www.cinntara.com (http://www.cinntara.com) it's a combo of my first name Cinnamon and my middle name Tara. Right now I only am promoting on company on it, but the name does not lock me down. :)
