What do you think, ladies, of the coming changes to Barefoot Books? Although initially, I didn't like to lose the 20% free gift allowance for books, I do like that we can get to the 30% commission more quickly and for earning even more. I also like that all purchases, even of sales aides, will count towards our volume and to receiving reward points (that's replacing the free gift allowance) which can be used as cash to be redeemed for products, sales aides or gift certificates to other things. And that personal websites will be free!-- no more paying for it, yay! So, I'm liking it and excited about it. Can't wait until it is rolled out in May. :)

You said that the changes should start in May? Are you currently a Stallholder? My wife is looking in to BareFoot Books and was thinking of becoming a Stallholder, so any information you can share would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Jeffrey

What is the difference between Barefoot Books and Barefoot Parties? Or are they the same company?http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

Thank you both for inquiring about Barefoot Books.

KSDad, yes I am a current stallholder. It is free to join, so need to wait until changes come in place and the office continues to post updates for feedback in our stallholder website as well as, holding live chats to listen in on and to ask questions. Your wife can visit my website at www.readlivebarefoot.com (http://www.readlivebarefoot.com) and email me and I will be happy to answer any questions she may have (I check my mail there daily whereas, I unfortunately don't get a chance to check here as often).

And Soy Candles, Barefoot Books and Barefoot Parties are two totally different and unrelated companies. Barefoot Books is a small publishing company that produces unique, quality children's books with equal emphasis on illustrations and story with many of the books drawing from various countries/cultures.
I believe Barefoot Parties promotes women empowerment, with products ranging from jewelry, spa things, and decorative objects. I saw a catalog some few years back and they had some great things and love their message.

You're welcome! I've thought if ever I find a rep for Barefoot Parties in my area (Wilmington DE), it would be fun to have a joined party with both of our companies. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif
