I hope someone here can help! I am clueless in what I need to do for filing taxes on my business. I started in June 2005 so this will be my first time filing. What do you do? I don't even know where to start.

I appreciate any help!

Every state is different so I would recommend finding a person in your area that has been with Arbonne for a while and ask them. OR, even better would be to find a tax accountant :)

I would go and see a tax specialist. There are lots of things to consider, especially depending on how much money you made from Arbonne. In addition to that, if you are on target to make more this year, you will probably want to get set up on quarterly estimated tax payments...and an accountant can help you with that.

Good luck.

Agood start is to gather your expenses. Calculate your mileage for all Arbonne biz. Include all entertainment espenses you had relating to hosting parties, one on ones, etc. Include your cell phone bills & your mortgage or rent. In some states you can include portions of utilities, etc. Include your Arbonne purchases for demos, trials, etc. Include any gifts, etc.Anything you spent to promote your business - your website, continuing education, educational books, cd's, etc. Then consult a local CPA to help you decide what is appropiate for you state. I would include anything I could think of - they will tell you what is allowed! This is a great benefit of owning a home business, especdially in your start up time!

Hello.. reading the boards tonight and came across this post.. I would highly recommendhttp://www.mlmtaxhelper.com/g.o/wahmto help with your taxes. :) Just my suggestion :) Oh and I believe it's a federal law that if you make over $600.00 the company has to send you a 1099. The above tax tips are great.. Thanks for sharing!
