My Director called me last night all excited on her way home from her very successful party! She always calls me about exciting news! I am so honored because she could call her UM or VIPS.

Anyway, she told me what she did with the Give It Up, Girl stickers. She put a couple in the product guides. She told the guests if they found the sticker inside, they could get a lipstick of their choice free! (They had to give her one of theirs) Everyone else could give their non BC ones to her and get them for $2. She sold 4 lipsticks and gave away 2.

One thing she noticed is that they were taking their time looking thru the whole product guide! Her sales were $686 with 11 in attendance and 3 potential new recruits! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gifI am so excited for her!

Have a fabulous week, my friends!

Sorry-question: Did only a few product guides have a sticker in them? Or did every guide have a sticker in them?

Thanks for sharing!

At the unit meeting I attended the director said that the winning unit will get to go to BC and design a new color lipstick. It won't be in the future product guides, but the unit gets to go home with a case of 250, or something like that. That's kind of fun!

Only a couple of product guides have the stickers inside. Here is the message from my Director about the lipstick promotion:

"Let’s set a goal to have the highest average Unit sales of Lasting Lip Color purchased per active Consultant in our region. If we all participate, we can do it! The rewards are very exciting: if we are the WINNING UNIT in our region, BeautiControl will give all of us in our Unit who purchased Lasting Lip Color in February the 50% discount level in March and April. Now that’s something to talk about!"

Either way, it is cool!

Wow! I'm glad to see that headquarters post the "message from Directors" section on Beautinet. Because that is the same quote that is posted in my "unit news" on Beautinet. It is good to know thatDirectorsdon't have to think about what to post at the beginning of every month, that is one less thingto think about as a Director. I'm sure all Directors have their own monthnewsletter they send to their units.

I'm working on creating my own monthly newsletter to send my clients. In this newsletter, I'll post beauty advice, product information and benefits as well as monthly promotion. This is another good way to keep in touch with clients. Ialso send e-postcards twice a month.

My newsletterisa work in process. Any ideas?

I think your newsletter is a great idea, but I don't have any ideas to contribute to it.smileys/smiley5.gif I'd be interested in seeing what ideas you DO get though!

This is my outline:

Starting with this month'sspecial; Give it up girl!

Beauty notes/advice to introduce new Product/s

Savings on theproducts that are discountedon the Achiever to promote and increase sales.

The recruiting Promotion ($179 rebate in February)

My hostess and referral programs.

Invitation to visit my web site.

End/close with a question ( How would you like to have lips that speak for themselves?)
[/list]

Right now, I'm using the Achiever to accomplish this task.

I thinkthat some people don't click the link tosee the e-postcards I send them. So as soon as they open my email they'll take a look!

The director in our unit had a fun idea on the "Give it up Girl" promotion. She took the page from the inside of the cover of the Achiever and "Give it up Girl" promotion page, it shows the lip colors at the bottom, she added a survey form, name address, phone, type of work, e-mail and favorite lip color. She went out to the local shopping center and stopped anyone that would listen asked them to fill out the survey for her compny and they would receive a free lipstick of their color choice if they gave up one of their old ones. She explained the lipstick would be sent as soon as she collected the old ones, she handed them a business card and is now ordering lipsticks and will be calling them back to deliver and talk more beautiControl! It sounds kinda fun if ya have the time to spend doing it!!!!

It is a fun Idea!

I did a survey in my neighborhood beforemy open house. Iused the white and brown sugar lotionto ask which onetheyliked the best. Brown Sugar was the winner! I invited all of the participants to my Open house and raffled the Brown Sugar minis. Surveys aregreat way tobreak the ice and talk to people about our business!
