<DIV =post>My boyfriend is looking for work {his business isn't doing well these days, lack of customers} and he's considering checking out the Greenville/Spartanburg area since we hope to be moving in a few years. He already has a place to stay if he did find something because my parents have a house in Spartanburg.

We live in Charleston and my husband is a home builder, he left last night to go to Virginia because he can't find anything here.


We are hoping that with the new immigration laws passed in SC./there will be more work coming available, as now companies clearly state they require proof of citizenship in help wanted ads. The illegals are steadily moving away. Problem is all the work is finished and there's very few new projects.

Type in a google search SC newspapers and see what comes up. Otherwise Im not sure where you would search besides craigslist

I live in the greenville/spartanburg area myself and greenvilleonline.com is a good resource to try. Just go the the "classifieds" section of that website.

Also, try iwanna.com and go to the Greenville area of the website.

Careerbuilder.com is a good one for Greenville/Spartanburg area as well as Monster.com. All of those websites have a lot of job postings from the area.

I live in the area too. In addition to hannahsmommy's suggestions, there is also goupstate.com. It's spartanburg's local newspaper.
