Which party plans do not require you to have inventory? Is there a company where you can purchase and ship products to your customers directly from the company website?

Big Yellow Box by Crayola doesn't require that you carry inventory, in
fact they prefer that you don't. We also can ship our
products(all inclusive craft kits) directly to customers, but they
cannot order the products online. The customers can look at your
website and decide what they want, but they call you to actually place
the order. I personally like to do business that way, because it
makes for a lot more personal service!

White Lily also does not require consultants to carry inventory, and will drop ship orders to customers.
Customers can order directly online through the main company website or through individual consultant websites.
Consultants are not required to meet any quotas, and there are no minimum order amounts.
Feel free to browse my site if you would like more info, and contact me if you want to chat or have any questions!

No inventory with Discovery Toys. I actually discourage it with new consultants, since it's easy to get stuck with it.

I think you'll find that most direct sales businesses don't require you to carry inventory anymore. There are a few exceptions that still do but most of that is based upon their minimum order requirements. If they make you order $250 at a minimum or a case full - then you'll be apt to end up having inventory on hand.
Were you looking for any type of company in particular or just checking around to see what the other companies do?

Inventory is not mandatory in MK. The shipping costs to you are so reasonable, but you would ship directly to your customer.

Our Family Favorites (gifts sets and specialty foods) doesn't require you to carry inventory. I personally have a handful of products on hand for local re-orders, fairs/festivals, fundraisers, etc but it's not required.
Actually most of my sales are done via my website and drop shipped to my customers in record timesmileys/smiley2.gif

None of the companies that I work with require me to carry an inventory
and my customers can order online and have products shipped directly to
them (with the exception of Jafra, I do the shipping there!)
My gift box business-The Country Cart- supports Our Family Favorites
and Gabby Goodies and Jafra body and bath products. I also do jewelry
shows with Azante Jewelry. Like Angie asked, what is your
interest? What kinds of products do you want to sell?
One of the best things about Our Family Favorites and Gabby Goodies
besides no inventory is they both offer websites where customers can
shop online and they both offer low sign up. Not to mention great
products!
OFF sign up is $39.95 website included!
GG sign up starts at $49.95 website cost $9.95 a mo. plus one time set up of $24.95

Arbonne doesn't require inventory, actually doesn't want you to carry one. But I do know some consultants who choose to carry a few of certain products for good guests who continually run out and ask about ordering too late. smileys/smiley9.gif If I run into that with one of my clients, I just go to someone who I know will have it. That way I can still help my client, but no inventory for me. And yes, you or the guest can order online and have it shipped directly to them. You might want to check it out at www.arbonne.com (http://www.arbonne.com).

HI Danielle~
Having a business in Shaklee (http://www.shaklee.net/ambie) you do not need an inventory at all!!! What a hassle and too much overhead!
And, yes, you most definitely can drop ship product to clients! You can do it from your own website if you choose to have one or from my website as well! I have a website through Shaklee and it is so helpful and such a great source for not only my existing clients but also those who are seeking safe alternative products!
Hope this is helpful to you!

The Traveling Vineyard does not require inventory. We just need
the 5 bottles we take to a tasting. All deliveries are handled by
the company. Our customers can order at events or (once a
customer) they can order online and I still get comission.smileys/smiley4.gif We keep is easy and simple wherever possible.

Hi!
Neither Jerky Direct (http://www.jerkyceo.com/jennifer), nor Tahitain Noni International (http://tni.com/jesposito)
require inventory. With TNI, you will get one case of Tahitian Noni
Juice (4 bottles) per month if you choose to do autoship. If you are
drinking your juice as you should, you would use approx. 2 of those
yourself, and have 2 left to retail. Both companies have online
ordering through personal websites.
Hope this helps! There are so many great options to choose from! :)

I see that Rosalee already answered your question about Home and Garden Party, and did a fantastic job, I may add, but I also wanted to add that $28 million worth of inventory at our fingertips - we just don't have to store it (THANK GOD!)
