View Full Version : To Arbonne or not to Arbonne

Hi everyone,

I attended an Arbonneparty last week and signed up as a Consultant in order to get the discounted price on skin care. Now I'm thinking I may want to take it farther. However, I'm not a super outgoing person with a little black book filled with friends' names, so not sure a party plan is right for me at all. Since I don't have a terrific base to start soliciting sales from, I would probably do doorknob hangers and offer samples upon request, advertise in our community newspaper (and write an article or two for the same paper) and invest in the myarbonne website as ways to market (these are ideas just off the top of my head - I'm sure there's a lot more I could do).

Think I stand a chance?? smileys/smiley17.gif

TIA!

Depends on how much you want it. There are great resources available for new consultants at the internet consultants area of www.arbonne.com (http://www.arbonne.com) and at regional sites. Since you've already signed up, why not give it a shot if you want to. Your doubt is what will hold you back and cause you to give up easily. So don't start until you're ready to go all the way, otherwise you're almost just setting yourself up for failure. I think you do have a chance if you make up your mind that this is what you are going to do.

Best wishes on whatever you decide.

Stacie has great points, as always. I want to add some thoughts.

First, instead of thinking "what if I fail" flip it & think "what if I succeed". If you succeed & make it to the top how will that change your life & the lives of those you know & those you help? And why can't you be one of the ones who succeed? There are a lot of them in Arbonne already & there are going to be many many more so you might as well be one of them.

There are a lot of successful people in Arbonne who started out like you. They wouldn't classify themselves as outgoing or having a big network of people. It doesn't take a big network. All it takes is knowing a few people who know a few people who know a few & so on & so on. I'm sure you know enought to get you started. Even if you don't you can find a few through various methods. Add hard work & coachability & you're on your way. Contact your upline. They will be thrilled to teach you how to succeed. Don't re-invent the wheel. Copy what has already worked for others. That's what we do in this business, we copy the successful ones! The ones who make it to the top justcopy better than others, lol.

The party system is just one tool in Arbonne to use. We have other systems that you can use to build your business. Find out everything you can about the various systems & figure outwhich fits you best. Your upline will help. Commit yourselfto that system, really commit, for a specified length of time. Which means doing what you are taught. It doesn't hurt to try it...it hurts more to not try it.

Goodluck on whatever you decide. You have a great network of info here & all over the Net.

I've done several other direct sales companies. It was hard because I too wouldn't consider myself one that has a large network of friends and the friends I do have are hard to get to do parties. So when this was presented to me and I realized that I didn't necessarily have to do parties to be successful, I was interested. And to be honest with you, most of my success has not been through my direct friends. I've had a few that have purchased but most have been by chance meetings.

Sit down and make a list of everyone you know that would benifit from Arbonne's products. From that list, make a list of those that you think you would like to work with and help build your business. Talk to them. Explain your why for doing Arbonne. Let them know why you want them to experience Arbonne in their life. I truely believe in this. Like I said, I've done other companies before and never really saw the big picture and felt like I could achieve it. Not that I didn't believe in myself but frankly climbing those ladders were not as simplistic as Arbonne's.

Good luck with whatever you decide. Find out if there is a business opportunity meeting in your area. If there is, try to go and get some questions answered for you.
