Are there any world of warcraft moms who want to earn $$ posting to a wow mom forum?

I will continue to have work and it will go like this:

1. $0.20 for 25 words for original posts and replies in forum.
2. $0.10 for 10 words or more in blog comments.
3. $1.00 for original posts of 100 words or more in forum.
4. $5.00 for blog posts of 400 to 500 words. Right now blog posts can also share in adsense if you have an adsense account.

Blog articles must be written like a professional article. These are approved based on grammar and content. Articles that pass the content test and can be lightly edited will be approved and edited. Articles that pass the content test yet need major editing will need to be resubmitted. Ones that do not post the content test yet are well written will not be approved.

Blog comments and forums posts need to have believable content and be readable but they don't need to be perfect.

I want people to post that know the game or those who are just starting out. If you haven't played then send an email to momsofwow@yahoo.com with your email address and I'll send you a message to get a free 10-day trial. This should be enough to make some very basic comments and if you decide to continue playing then let's have some fun!

To find these jobs visit http://www.mturk.com and search for momsofwow. I will bump this thread each time I add something to mturk so wahms can find out first.

i just created a new user with the normal permissions and i was able to post so i don't know. maybe i was upgrading right when you had signed up?

i'm debating whether or not to put shared adsense on the forum or not. i wonder how many people would acttually be interested in that.

I have been playing wow for five years now so you can count me in!! smileys/smiley10.gif

Excellent :) We'll take over the world! LOL Actually, I want new players too so the posts and questions can cover a wide realm of expertise. Oh, and if you don't play and want to try it for two weeks then I (or another member) can refer you and then the referring person will get a free month if you signup and stay on for two months. Don't worry, it's addicting so you won't have a choice but to click that button. haha

Keep them coming smileys/smiley4.gif

I can do 1 or 2 things. I plan on paying for posts, that's a given. I'm also thinking about opening it up so others can put their adsense code on the page so if any clicks happen on their posts they get $$.

Come on...let's start a team of wahms on world of warcraft and wipe out the guys. haha

I don't allow pm's on the board because I don't want a lot of flaming going on so please email me at momsofwow@yahoo.com as I'm having trouble with the pop server on the system. email me if you want to do some forum posting or if you think having the adsense sharing is a good idea.

W.O.W!!!! I used to play for years and had soo much fun but we had to quit because it cost $20/month but my husband and I were talking about starting up again and now I have a realllly good reason!!! Please include me in your decision because when I start to write there is no stopping me!! I need to know a few things though, how many hours potential is there for this per week? How much will you be paying per forum post? I am willing to start playing WOW again definately for a chance like this! Please reply when you can!! I really want to apply!! By the way; this is very amazing what you are doing; lots of people think only guys like this game but in fact you are also asking for World of Warcraft Moms!! I'm a mom! Lol...sorry...got a little excited! Thanks again!

haha that's okay. i have to find out what a decent rate is for forum posting. i tried this once before but i think the board was too professional and i was being to anal on the quality of the posts because it was more of a professional board.

Okay, monetizing the individual blogs will be too difficult and hard to keep track of. I want to make this easy so what I am going to do is to let members who are interested and have been doing it for awhile post to the main blog under their character name. I haven't been able to figure out how to include the whole forum yet.

Okay, so if you sign up and you have an adsense code please login and go to your dashbaord and click on My Advertising then put your adsense id number in the field.

Now, I don't know if this works for forum posts yet. I know it works for regular posts. I'm still working on the code.

I will be doing paypal to populate the original posts but i need to get everything working and there is so much to do :(

Ugh honestly, I have to make a new theme for this. The one theme I have isn't behaving. smileys/smiley7.gif

Signup if you want and have some fun. The payment will be through mturk. I'll post the link later on. This is for the forum posting and not the adsense.

Do it here. I hope I did this right :(

If not then search for forum post and it will come up.

You can always sign up and post away for fun. Check the mturk link above for $$as that is how I'm managing forum postings. Then if you want to use adsense and be a blog contributor please see the Blog link on the website. I am trying to figure out how to get the adsense running in the forum.

What's eq2 mean, and what kind of game? Is it free also? I am also into playing games. I used to play WoW a little bit before.. But I was always into Warcraft III, so Wc III would always steal my mind away from WoW. I'm more into playing vrs people and lvling, along with many of their custom games like Danties Hell. (Pro Game) hehe. They really did a good job with everything on WoW though. I was hoping they would make another Warcraft IIII RPG game. (Not related to wow) With like a lot more races, and a different set up.. Man that would be so popular. Warcraft III is still pretty popular.

I am also waiting for Diablo III. I don't play Diablo II anymore though.

EQ2 is Everquest II. It's not free, its a $14.95 (or 14.99, can't remember) subscription. Its one of the games I currently play, though having to let it go after my sub runs out due to financial issues. EQ2 does have "exchange" servers where you can legally buy and sell in game money/items to other players, but, much like real life, the economy is prettyshot right now. Though it does still sell, just not as worth it anymore unless you can make it as fast as the people who box 6 accounts at once and make 100s of plat a day.

Anyway, just chiming in as another girl gamer.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif Don't kill me, but I played WoW for about 6 monthsand hated it in the end. I was more into Star Wars Galaxies before they ruined it, and currently my husband, my daughters and I are more into City of Heroes/Villains. My daughters are 6 & 7 years old and they love playing CoX with us.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

My husband and I have been playing WOW for a few years now. We hardly ever watch t.v. Only for our favorite shows. I have several high level characters. I've always wanted to have a "J.O.B." playing WOW and getting paid for it. It's my "dream job" and to work at home. would be very interested in this as well. So would my husband probably...lol. I would like more information about it as well. I did look at the link. Do you know what server your guild will be on yet?

LOL I am with ya Alythara! I gave WoW an honest try....twice....I just can't get in to it. The graphics are not appealing to me...to cartoony and it's way too easy. I don't play on an Exchange server on EQ2, never thought it would be that profitable. EQ2'sbiggest downfall is that its system requirements are higher than WoW's, but that is the price ya pay for much nicer graphics in a game.

Sorry to hear you have to give it up. I could never. In fact, hubby and I both play religiously and we both 2-box (play two accounts at once). Sure it costs us $60 a month for the 4 accounts, but we consider it our entertainment budget. I guarantee people who entertain themselves by hitting the movies, going out for dinner or hanging out at the bar are spending a lot more than $60 a month.

Anyone try Age of Conan? I did...stunning, absolutely stunning graphics.....Horrible content and story line.

No, but if it has Arnold as Conan the Barbarian in a loin cloth with great graphics then I'm game.

*note that although I am looking for great grammar on all the tasks, the blog tasks will be the most important. i want the forum and comments to be believable and real. The blog posts are more like articles and will be treated as such so if you write one through mturk and it is not approved it means that it might need a lot of editing.

If it isn't too bad and I can do the edits myself then I will. If the article needs a lot of work then it will not be approved but can be resubmitted as a forum topic or rewritten for the blog.
