There's a lot of great info in the forum, but the wait time varies from company to company when you apply for a job.

Well, legit companies are smart to have application processes to weed out those without the right experience or who don't want to actually work. It would be nice to just sign up and start making money, but sadly the employment fairy doesn't exist. :-)
