Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have any ideas on a Paris Theme 40th Birthday Party and also any party ideas or themes for a40th Birthday for 5 guys thats been friends for 23 years. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Is the 40th B-day party with the Paris theme for the guys? I can come up with many Paris themed ideas - but they are all very feminine. Is there a reason you are thinking Paris for these 5 guys? Did they all take a trip to Paris in college or have some other Paris Connection? Or are you asking for two different parties?

No, its two separate parties.... the Paris theme is for a female... I was asking for suggestions for a theme for the guys...

Okay, just wanted to make sure.
Paris is simple. You have to think Simple - black and white for the colors and perhaps some toile pattern (also in black and white). Find an old balck and white movie - maybe something with Audrey Hepburn and you could play that in the background.
Keep the food simple fruit, cheese, small pastries.
Itsa 40th so I don't imagine you are looking to play a ton of games.
I would suggest a start time of around 7pm - set out the wine, cheese, breads, and pasteries and perhaps have a selection of french wines for everyone to enjoy while they mingle.
You could have an Eifle tower put ontop of a cake - and use twinkle lights to decorate.
Google Paris and see what pops up and what pictures you get.
For the 40th birthday for the 5 guys - pull from how they met, and what they have in common. Are they fishin buddies, do they camp togerther, hunt, football, did they meet in Highschool or College. Start there.

Ok I spoke with the guys they want a black and white affair, with the theme of "69" the year they were born in. of course black and white is always easy "somewhat" but i want it to be a little different than your ordinary "black & white" any suggestions on centerpieces? I was thinking about something with top hats or something... I dont know... I just dont want to do just the ordinary balloons. Help is appreciated!
