Have any of you had luck with having a display in a consignment shop? There are several in a 10 mile radius of me and I had a light bulb moment when I was coming back from walmart (to get my sample baggies lol).
For those of you who have done this....do you happen to have a letter that you would mail with some scent samples? Do you go in person and speak to the owner? How do you go about it?
I was just asking to see if any of you have any experience with that...or any other retail setting for that matter. Hair salon, tanning salon, etc etc etc.
And yet another scenario: craft fairs/flea markets. I have a booth reserved from now (2nd weekend in Feb) until December and was wondering what I should have permit wise.......besides a sales and use tax certificate? Sandy was sweet enough to give me the link for the form for my state....I'm in North Carolina.
I was just trying to get a good idea of where I should go with this.
Thanks!!

Check with the flea market/craft fair what they require - here the flea market is the one that required the paperwork. Not sure if they all work like that or not - but they would be the best to get answers from. If you had your resellers tax certificate, that may be all they require.

I have my candles on consignment in a tanning salon - but truthfully, they are not selling well. I don't know that a tanning salon is a good place for them. But you've got to try everything to see what does and doesnt work for you - so go for wherever you can! smileys/smiley2.gif

Have you thought about putting our Body Wash and Bella Bars on
consignment in the salon instead? Perhaps have them offer out a body wash
sample to each person as they check out after their session. I know that the
first thing I do when I leave a tanning salon is go directly home and
SHOWER! smileys/smiley36.gif

Great idea, Kitt!
I just can't wait my 91 more days till I can get in the tanning bed again! I just look at it longingly every time I pass it.

Speaking to someone in person is more successful than a letter. If you can do that, I would recommend dropping by with a full size jar and letting them smell!
good luck!
