Hello,
i have a phone interview coming up. I missed the first call on Monday night, so the message said they would call me back in a few days. so I'm waiting and anxious. I have outbound experience. Does anyone know what the interview is like? I know we can't discuss everything, but any hints? Is it tough?

Thanks in advance
Patti

They are a good company. They're training is a labyrinth - I was totally lost and messed up on training - but they seem fine.

I worked for thema few months back. The interview was a piece of cake! You'll do great. They only ask about your past experience or they did with me. Good luck to you!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif Edited by: danna21

Congrats on the phone interview! I hope it all works out great for you!
I got an email from West a couple of weeks ago, with a link to fill out paperwork to send back to them. I sent it all back except the I9/Identificaion form, as the instructions said I had to have that particular form back within 3 days of being offered a position with West.

Well, I've not been offered a position, lol. I sent the HR dept back an email asking if they wanted me to go ahead and send the I9 form in now, and have not gotten a response yet.

Does anyone know if West is slow in replying about job information? I do know that they must be getting slammed with resumes/applications and are way busy - so I figure that must be the reason.

Congrats again to you!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif

I work for West and they are pretty good. Flexibility is the best deal. You can schedule yourself in 1/2 hour increments 24 hours a day. You can change your schedule as long as you follow their protocol.

I enjoy the flexibility and the pay is ALWAYS on time. You will get paid for training also.

Good Luck!!!

PS - Be careful on the training because ifyou fail any of themyou will not be able to get back in until another opprty arises and it could take months. You will usually get two chances at every test so pay attention. It is a good idea to write notes of key points as you go thru the training so you are prepared for each test.

Hi
this is for westat

If you go to www.workplacelikehome.com there is a section there for westat.

You can find out more info and it tells you how to apply.

This is outbound calling just so you know.

I was interviewd tonite and "Welcomed Aboard" and then was told they have nothing available right now and it could possibly be a few months before a project could be started; I was encouraged however to go through the necessary training anyway.

These are two different companies....one is Westat and the other is West at Home. I belive Westat is a research company where you call and do surveys to willing participants, where West at Home is more customer service handling Customer calls.

Hello! I also got my email saying I could look forward to the phone interview. I got the call tonight but did not pick up the phone in time. They did not leave a message but I called the company back and left a voice message with my name and number. Since I didn't get the phone in time and they did not leave a message does this mean they will not call back to do my phone interview?
