I hope you all enjoyed your holidays.

I am excited about the New Year and am making some goals for 2009.

I am going to try and exercise and eat better for one. As well as attempt to get my family in on it too! ( a small undertaking…lol.)

I have successfully paired up my mom and my husband for a weight loss challenge.

Seriesse has a weight loss kit on sale right now which includes Sylvester Stallone’s Spro-20 Protein Powder and the S-Force Green Tea Plus. For the month of January, the S-Force Weight Loss System is priced at $67.50 which normally retails for $84.00. A great savings to get you started feeling better in 2009. Many people substitute the Spro 20 shake for 2 meals per
day so you can save on food costs too.

Here is a clip of Sylvester Stallone talking about the protein shake: SPro20 (http://www.myseriesse.com/ProductPage.aspx?ItemID=168&ID=kathyl)

I have ordered this weight loss kit for my husband and I, and my mom.
They are challenging each other to see who reaches their weight loss
goal first.

I thought it would be great to start up a weight loss thread. It is
very hard to stay on a weight loss plan or exercise routine if we have
no one to make us accountable for our actions. It is always more
pleasant if we have company in our endeavors. You do not have to be a
consultant or a customer of Seriesse to join in. You just need to have
a goal in mind for getting fit.

I continually take my S-Force Multi Vitamin and Amla Rush along with
the Essential Green Tea water amplifier. I cannot tell you the
difference it has made in the way I feel and the energy I maintain now
through out the day.

Our Weight Loss Kit will help to increase energy and metabolism, curb
appetite and help build lean muscle and burn fat. Of course, you need
to exercise and eat sensibly too.

If anyone is up for a challenge, this is the place to start. Everyone
is welcome to chat, share their stories and of course support each
other!

Join in and get fit in 2009!

Hi Kathy!!

Good for you http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif! I'm lovin' Sly's SPR0 20 sooooo much & so is my hubby & my son. We don't drink it as a meal replacement though. My son is a huge Amla Rush fan too- he doesn't miss a day! I already placed him on autoship but I alsobought him the 6pk for Christmas b/c he's always giving some to his friends & he makes his girlfriend drink it when she's at the house too http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley14.gif! He cracks me up- I tell him HE should be the consultant in the family.

I tried the Green Tea supplements awhile back b/c I like to try every product at least 1x so I can experience it and am able to give my friends/family/customers an accurate assessment of the products. So Ijust tried them justto see if I felt any different & to see if there were any side effects but I liked the increase in energy I felt so I continued with them daily. So I ate regularly (which is not very good- junk food junkie here!) & did nothing different and when I went for my doctor visit, I was TEN pounds lighter http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif. I couldn't believe it.

I really do think that Sylvester Stallone's product line is far superior than anything I've ever tried in any health/nutrition store. My family was quite impressed - and surprised! I guesspeople thinkcelebrity-endorsed instead ofactually being developed by someone who's life has been about health & nutrition - big difference!

Good luck Kathy & keep us posted on your progress! I wish I could join you but I know I like my cookies too much smileys/smiley9.gif

Thanks Cyndi!

OMG, I am sitting here right now with a box of chocolates! ugh!!! I am happy to announce that I did not eat the whole box though (don't laugh, I could finish a box in two days...shame on me!). Fortunately, I do not need to loose weight but I DO DO DO need to exercise and firm up my body. I am a total bowl of mush! smileys/smiley9.gif I get winded just bending over. It is awful. I have always had a very low amount of energy and I used to never get through a day without having to take a nap. Now that I am using the S-Force line, I have soooo much more energy though out the day. I could never go without it now knowing how much better I feel with it.

I really just have to get moving with some exercise. I absolutely hate exercising. I am so undisciplined, I cannot do it by myself. I think alot of people are like that.

I am very proud of myself because I have exercised twice already this week. I know that does not sound like much but that is big time for me!smileys/smiley32.gif My mom and my husband need to loose quite a bit of weight. I am very happy they are challenging each other. I worry about their health. My mom and I are trying to exercise together so we can keep each other motivated. I find exercising much more tolerable with a partner.

Congratulations on your weight loss!!! That is awesome! You must have been so happy and you must feel so good. That is a great testimonial for just how incredible the S-Force line is.

Gee Cyndi, your son should totally become a consultant! Is this your 24 year old? He could make sooooo much money. He could retire early in life. Why has he not joined yet? You should bring him to one of our PST trainings so he can "see" the big picture. Good luck with him!

I hope others will join in on getting fit. My mom.......OH!! I forgot to mention that my mom is also a Seriesse consultant. She loves the products. The cholesterol control and the joint support have helped her immensely. Anyway, my mom has already lost 3 bls! Woohoo! Go mom!!

Congrats to your mom- way to go mom!!

My son loves the S-Force line but he also loved the acne line when he was a teenager. At the 1st sign of acne I have him the products & he was actually telling his friends (he's so darn cute!) about it. He called it his "zit kit"! He had such nice skin all through high school b/c of our incredible acne line. He's not into selling at this point though- he concentrates on his art which is his true passion (ever since he picked up his 1st pencil!).

I miss exercising so much- specifically pilates. I had surgery a few years ago & have some nerve damage that starts in my neck & does down my arms into my hands so I'm afraid to do pilates anymore. I had 2 herniated discs in my neck- 1 was operable, the other was not. So I'm a big pile of mush myself. But if you haven't tried pilates, it's incredible- I got fantastic results in a short time.

Ugh, how did you hurt your neck? That is awful! What a terrifying experience to have to have surgery on the neck. ewww. Anything that includes the spine is terrifying to me. I have a cousin who has had to have multiple neck surgeries and she still lives in pain. I feel very badly for her.

I have never tried pilates. I could never stick to any form of exercise routine before which is why I started this thread. I know there are others out there like me who hate to exercise and people like my mom and husband who need to loose weight but just need a little push and to know you are not alone.

My mom is in her 60's, has always had high blood pressure and high cholesterol (which the S-Force Cholesterol Control has helped lower) and she is at least 50 bls overweight. One of brothers died at the age of 50 from a heart attack and another of her brothers had a major stroke at the age of 50 and has never been able to talk since (about 12 years ago). So, I am very worried about my mom. I have been trying to get her to cut back but she has no will power. I am hoping that with our weight loss kit she will loose enough weight to help lower her BP and stay healthy and our attempts to exercise will help both of us feel better about ourselves.

At the moment our fitness routine is using the Wii Fit. We are so pathetic...LOL... but it is fun and it does not feel like we are torturing ourselves....lol....we are taking baby steps. Maybe once we get a little more fit we can move on to the more advanced exercise routine. smileys/smiley2.gif

BTY, how is your mom-in-law? was it her that was in the hospital?

I tried replying to your post so many times today but I had a craaazzzy day at work today! Congrats to your mom- way to go Mom! And Kathy, YOU deserve a "woo-hoo" too..what a wonderful daughter you are! I'm sure you mom appreciates your support. I miss having a mom http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif. She passed away 10 years ago. It was actually my mom that got me to try SSC. She was an avid HSN watcher (and buyer!). She told me about Jennifer's acne line & at that point, I was tired of trying products that were supposed to be so great just to find they did nothing for me. She didn't listen to me & purchased the acne kit for me. And, well, you know the rest of that story!
My mother-in-law is home now but she's having a hard time (thanks for asking!). A nurse comes in 3x week to take care of her & my husband spent a couple of days other there doing stuff for her. She's kind of like your mom- no willpower. She needs to lose weight very badly. She's had a double knee replacement & STILL can't walk without problems.

And you are NOT pathetic!!! If Wii Fit works for you- GREAT! There's absolutely nothing at all wrong with that. In fact,a fewpeople have mentioned to me that they useWii Fit soit seems to be popular. But if you have the chance, try pilates. When I first tried pilates, I thought it was a waste of time b/c I didn't even break a sweat but the next day, every muscle in body ached. After years of kickboxing & who knows how many 100s of crunches, 2 weeks of pilates made such a difference in my body- especially my tummy & butt. If you try, get a beginners workout (I like Winsor pilates).

I'm curious to see what new products come out this year. I just did my $15 renewal & right away I got an email from HO with a $10 coupon to use on my next order so that was nice.

First off Cyndi...I am very sorry about your loss! My mom and I are very close and I will be devastated when I loose her. I try not to think about it. It is pretty cool that is was your mom that got you started with SSC. I happened upon it by chance flipping through the stations years ago. I was looking for new skin care and decided to give it a try and was shocked that it worked...lol. It was the first time I realized that skin care was actually supposed to DO something to the skin. It (the A-Line) erased some of the fine lines around my eyes. I really was not expecting those results, so I have been hooked ever since.....pretty cool!

I hope your mother-in-law will be okay!

Oh my gosh, if that pilates will help my butt. I really should try it! At the moment I do not have one and need to add to it...lol. A little muscle would be a nice addition....heehee. I will check it out. Thank you!

I too just got my $10 check for renewal which I will be spending this weekend. It is supposed to snow and I will be stuck inside so a little shopping from myself for myself will be fun. smileys/smiley2.gif

Do either of you know anyone who has used the weight loss products and lost weight? Was it easy for them?

Hi Heather,

My mom and my husband are on it right now. So far my mom has lost 5 pounds in one week which she is thrilled about. I am not sure about my husband because he refused to get on the scale to weigh himself before he started smileys/smiley5.gif. He does, however, call me from work because he is excited about all the energy he has been having since he has been on the system....and that is just with using the Spro-20, he keeps forgetting to take the Green Tea Plus. He has not even been buying coffee! (this saves alot of $) He usually drinks about 3 coffees a day.

Mindy, my upline, has told me that Dave Kelley, Seriesse's Chief Informations Officer, has lost 16 pounds and another consultant she knows has already lost 6.

So far, my mom and my husband are having a very easy time with it. The Spro-20 is very good. It comes in vanilla only, at the moment. I personnally add a small scoop of chocolate malt ovaltine in it and it tastes great. I have also added it to a strawberry/banana drinkable yogurt from Stoneyfield Farms and THAT was awesome!!! My mom will add some fruit and a little yogurt to it and she loves it.

Both my mom and my husband drink it for breakfast. My mom will have a lite lunch and dinner but my husband will have the shake for lunch too. They both say that it holds them...I mean... it keeps their tummy full.

Cyndi may know of some others. I know she has had great results with just the Green Tea Plus alone.

Hope this helped.

Heather,

I lost weight without even trying just by taking the Green Tea supplements! I just wanted to try them out so I was really surprised when I lost 10 lbs. The SPRO 20 tastes pretty good. Both my husband & my son liked the taste of it.

It doesn't hurt to try ANY Seriesse product- all products have a 45 day money back guarantee. Just return the unused portion of the product to the company for a refund.

Hi Sillymom!

It is so nice to see you here! Are you going to join me in getting fit? I hope so! it is nicer to know I am not alone. I hope we have given you some incentive to open up that pilates tape up
and give it a try. And then report back to us and let us know how it is
working for you. I may have to invest in one of those tapes myself. I
need a whole lot of help on my butt....lol. I am so bad at keeping an exercise routine of any kind but this week I have done really well at using my Wii fit. It is the most exercise I have gotten in a loooong time. And it is fun too. Me, my mom and daughter are doing it together. While one is on the Wii Fit, the other two must keep moving behind them. It is good bonding time for us too. I hope you join in and others too because it will keep us focused all the more. You see, I tend to start and then after a few weeks it starts to fade away. ugh! I get upset with myself for doing that. So, I am hoping the more people who join in the more we will we have incentive to keep up the work and keep each other going. Ya know what I mean? smileys/smiley1.gif

I am so happy to hear that you are still enjoying the green tea drops. I cannot drink water without it now. It just seems so boring . Have you tried making a pitcher of water with the citrus in it along with a slice of lemon? I like to keep that in the fridge at all times and just drink that. I love it that way. My other favorite is the pomegranite but the new peach is pretty good too. It has a very soft peach flavor to it.

I HOPE you will keep in contact and let us know if you open up that tape and use it!!!!! Don't let me do this alone! smileys/smiley2.gif
