Has anyone tried the Figure 8 system for weight loss? I have about 23 pounds to lose after a crazy holiday season and was wondering if anyone had used it. I started yesterday and it's going well so far!

Thanks in advance!

I am doing it along with excercise and I have lost 7 lbs since last Saturday (9 days) I love the shakes and chews. I dont notice anything when I take the supplements but I have to assume they do something, cause I am definitly loseing weight! I kinda like that I dont notice that I am taking them, I HATE that jittery feeling you get from alot of diet supplements. Keep us posted on how you do as well! We can be each others cheerleaders, LOL!smileys/smiley17.gif

Hi,

I just ordered the shakes this month. Cant wait for them to get here. I'm not a big shake person but thought I would give them a try. I'm not big onthick textures so I will have to make mine pretty thin.
I am using the chews and the supplements. I love the chews, I always carry a few in my purse so when I'm out running around I have them handy. The supplements don't make me feel jittery at all!! I really can tell a difference when I remember to take them 30 mins. before I eat.(I have a hard time remembering to take them far enough in advance) I usually have a weight watchers frozen dinner for lunch.Without the supplements I feel like I could eat 2of them but when I take the supplement at the right time with a glass of water I feel full before I'm finished eating. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

I'm going to try and weigh myself weekly. I want to lose about 12-15 lbs. My goal weight is 115 (I'm 5'4")

Good Luck!!

Thanks for the input, ladies! I am a Lifetime Weight Watchers member and am trying to keep "points" in mind for my daily intake, but really like not having to think about what to prepare for two of my meals per day. The fiber shakes have made my stomach a little uncomfortable, but I decided to cut the serving size in half and add more water to dilute it. That helped...

I also mix the shake with soy milk instead of water. I don't think water would give me enough calories to feel satisfied.

Good luck! I know we'll all suceed - it's a great system.

Hi ladies,

I have been using the system also. I have to say that I am getting used to the taste of the shakes. To add a little something to them I have been mixing the vanilla with skim milk and a flavor yogurt. The orange cream works wonderfully!!!!

I am going to try banana in the chocolate shake. Also the peanut butter chews are AWESOME!!!! I just bought another 2 packs. I have to hide them on my husband, he thinks it's candy.

My husband does berrys with ice and the vanialla protein and orange fiber. He loves it. Sometimes he does yogurt too. The chews are great for in between during the day. My friend loves peanut butter in the chocolate protein. Just a thought.

Here's a tip for the chews...

Some folks have thought the chews are a tad bit "hard" when you first put them in your mouth. I put one or two in my pocket (in the wrapper of course smileys/smiley36.gif)for a bit before I pop them in my mouth.Edited by: Kiana's Mom

I gotta tip for taking your supplements. I really feel that they are an importiant part of the system, and so many people are saying they are forgetting to take them. When I wake up, I immediatly take my supplement with a 20 bottle of water, really helps fill you up. When I start getting hungry for lunch, I again take a supplement w/another bottle of water. I just check the clock when I take it and I WILL NOT eat until 30 min has passed, and the water helps me wait, lol! Whenever I get ready to cook dinner, I take my supplement and drink another bottle of water while I am cooking. It usually takes my 30 minutes to cook and make everyones plate, so by the time I get to eat the 30 minutes is over. Also, at this point I have gotten in 60 OZ. of water which I think is really importiant if you want to lose weight. Gotta get that water drank every day. I was wondering, I joined the figure 8 boards and am having a hard time connecting on there. I know they do like weekly weigh ins, just as a motivational type thing. Would anyone be interested in doing that here? We could do it every Friday where we just check in and say if we lost/gained a couple of pounds, encourage each other, etc....? Anyone want to do something like that regular? I watch that "Celebrity Fit Club" on VH1, and love to see everyones progress, lol! We could do an "Arbonne Moms Fit Club", LOL!

I haven't looked at the Figure 8 website since I started the program, so don't know if it will be hard to log on, but I would be happy to have a weigh in here! I think it's really motivating to know you aren't alone on a program and to see other's progress.

It's really cold and rainy here right now (I'm in the Seattle area) so I've been substituting herbal tea with Stevia to sweeten for some of my water. I agree that water is really an important part of any weight loss program.

Sounds great! If anyone else wants to join in, feel free. On Friday I will post a thread called "Arbonne Moms Fit Club". I will post my loss/gain for the week (hopefully loss, LOL) and my starting weight. I think this will be fun, and in my case, if I am reporting to someone else, I will try harder, lol! So, everyone come by on Friday and join in on the weekly weigh in. Just dont leave me standing there naked on my scale all alone for the whole internet to see.smileys/smiley36.gif

Wow Brandy! That is awesome! You are going to be a real testimony for the Figure 8 line! I am only taking the Figure 8 Supplement and I notice that my appetite has decreased a lot and when I sit down to eat, I get full very fast! I had a customer tell me the other day that I looked like I lost some weight! Lord knows I need to! smileys/smiley36.gifsmileys/smiley36.gif

Count me in! I just started the shakes this Monday. I substitute my lunch everyday w/ a protein shake and eat a very healthy breakfast and early smaller dinner. I also take the pills. I can't beleive that I feel full! I am the type that actually has to but into something, preferably crunchy, to get the full feeling.

Now, how about that cellulite cream!
