View Full Version : A great incentive for people that say no

Everyone is going to have someone tell them no. A great incentive that I have heard is to say, "Tell you what. I know you are not interested in the business aspect of Arbonne, but we have just started a new incentive. If you know someone who might be interested in what I am doing, they sign up, and are serious, once they hit Area Manager (this is a step under getting a car), I will give you $1000."
<Once you go meet with the referral and find out that they really are interested, give the person who referred youthe opportunity to sign up with that person below them, and let them know that you would train them both at the same time. If they still are not interested then say you will still give them $1000 when they finish qualification for area> ***Remind the person you found this person for you, that THEY HAVE COMPLETED the hardest part in Arbonne, finding their first person!
This is a lot easier to say, then type, so I hope this all makes sense.

I don't get it, you're just giving them $1000 of your own money or what?

I guess if you get someone as an AREA under you, you get so much more in overrides, you can afford $1000. depends on your level. I have seen $500 offered, I think on the askthea website. or maybe the wiser way.
She has coupons you can print out.

I have not heard of the success on this approach unfortunatly.
Kristi- The reason you can afford giving them $1000 is- to qualify for Areathey have to have $24,000 over two months. That is at least $10,000 their first month. The override that you recieve off of this, should cover the cost of the $1000.

Oh I know we can afford it, I just wasn't sure of the logistics. That could work unless you have 5 area managers promoting out in one month, LOL! That would eat up your checks pretty quick! smileys/smiley36.gif

Not really because the volume you will be paid on is 5 times as much as if only 1 were promoting so it's all in proportion.
It's funny that this has come up. My sister has referred a doctor's office to me but doesn't want to sign up herself. I haven't said anything to her but I thought I would give her $500 if/when the doctor's office hits Area. I had seen it on Thea's website when I first joined Arbonne. I am not sure that I would openly offer it though because it seems to me that the reason people refer folks to you is because they know & like you & your products/company. But I suppose that the flip side could be that this would encourage people to be more on the lookout for prospects to refer to you.
What else do you guys think?
