You should definitely take a look at this company. I have experienced a lot of success with making and selling my candles.

Candlewealth is good for the beginner... but their prices on their products are entirely too high when you can go to any number of candle supply companies and get better quality at a lower price.

To start CandleWealth, there is a price for the entire business opportunity, but if a person just wants to make and sell candles on the side, then Candle Wealth may not be for that person. I, on the other hand, am interested in long time residual income, while making candles. I'm sure I don't want to make candles forever, so that's why I chose this company. I get to profit from a hobby that I truly enjoy while building a team and residual income. I see the big picture.

If, however, you are merely a hobbyist, a candle supply company is definitely what you need!

Best of luck to you and happy holidays!

Actually... if your intention is to start a candle business without having to recruit others below you, a candle supply company is definitely what you need.

I agree! smileys/smiley1.gif

Sorry if that was snippy... but there are plenty of non-hobbyists who buy from a myriad of candle suppliers.

I buy my wax by the pallet, as well as my glassware for my candles. I don't down Candlewealth because they are great for the person who is either just getting started and doesn't have the know how about candles.. or for someone who is looking for that recruitment opportunity. But... for someone who just wants to make candles either as a hobby or as a business.. their supplies are just too expensive.

I disagree, simplewraith.

I wouldn't say CandleWealth is for the begginner.
I would say buying your own Candle making supplies from a candle supply company is for beginner's-that's why they call there candle kits for beginner.
And not all Wax is created equal!

Don't mean to sound snippy.
But CandleWealth is for the Entreprenaur who wants true, residual income, not someone who wants to buy and sell candles and that's it.

I am going to be signing up with a simular company to CandleWealth, but one that offers Wellness productsALONG WITH soy candle-making kit, so you can design your own, and sell for profit, do candle classes, retail to shops, and more!

Their Soy is top quality and pure soy.
I bet CanndleWealth has pretty god wax also, my Mentor is still using her's from CandleWealth!
I have seen some pretty good sources online that offer pretty good Soy as well.
One is peak candle supply. Pretty good prices too.
Not sure about your's simplewraith, but it is probably pretty good, also.

But I wouldn't knock anyone's Business or anyone's idea of what is good for them because what's good for them is not always good for you!
We all like different things and that is ok!
God Bless!

I am making some Candles for Valentines day and using Heart shaped glass jars and using the red color chips and I think Cinnamom spice fragrance until Iget the Love Spell scent.
Someone mentioned on a candle forum that mix up the scents and colors.
They use a scent that wouldn't normally go along with that color, like a vanilla scent with a red candle and a cinnamon scet with a blue color candle,to get people's reactions.
Kind ofdifferent.

I am also thinking about getting some lollipop sticks from the store and
sticking them to the back of my tealights and making little lollipop tealights to hand out for Valentines day, along with my Biz card.
I'll put them in a cellowrap or a little baggy.

You may want to tell them to remove the stick before lighting or have that in bold letters somewhere on it. Maybe it's just me, but it sounds like a fire hazard.

You're kidding me right?
You wouldn't know to remove a stick sticking to a tealight first before lighting it??!!
Don't you think most people know to removea lollipop stick first before lighting a tealight?

That's like sticking a label to a really, nice smellingcandle, and saying
"Do Not Eat!"

No, I'm not kidding. People will sue for anything and if you don't have a warning on it, you can be liable. There's a reason why we all put warning labels on the bottom of candles that say "Keep candles away from flammable materials".

You know, my dad was just telling me about something that happened a few years ago with Maytag. A man took out the piece in his washer that makes it stop spinning when you open the lid. He got hurt, and sued Maytag even though it was HIS fault for taking out the safety. Guess what? He WON.

So could you get sued for burning someone's house down for not telling them to take off the stick? Absolutely.

Sorry folks - was doing some research on CandleWealth but I had to jump in here ...

I have to completely agree with Kara on this - as sad as it seems (and yeah, it really, really is sad!) you're definitely going to want to put that label on there.

Why do you think they have the label saying "Do not use shower" on the blow dryer?

Or the picture on the lawn mower telling you not to stick your hands in the blades?

Baby stroller - Do not collapse while baby is still seated.

Sunshields (for car windshields) - Do not use while driving.

Smoke Detectors - Detector contains a weak radioactive source. Do not digest. (And I would want to digest any part of a smoke detector if it didn't?)

Knives - Sharp object. Keep out of children.
(See, and this is why I like to buy dull knives!)

Iron - Remove clothing before ironing.
(Dang, so should have read that label first - that's hot!)

Soda machine - Never rock or tilt. Machine can fall over and cause serious injury or death. Vending machine will not dispense free product.
(Not purposely anyway.)

Washing machine: High Spin Speeds - Do NOT put any person in this washer.
(You ought to appreciate this Kara - And does this mean I am NOT to put a child in there? It sounds like a lot of fun to me!)

And here ya go ... this is a real doosy! Ready for this one??

Screwdriver Set - 8PCS Precision Screwdriver Set - NOT to be inserted into penis.
(And there is a PICTURE!!!)

Oh I could so go on and on here. We made a list like this on my message boards one time. I need to dig them up. They sure can make for a good laugh! (Google "Stupid warning labels" anytime you need a good laugh!)

Kara's story reminds me of the story of the woman who sued a furniture store. She broke her ankle because she had tripped over a toddler. Her OWN toddler! Or the woman who sued McDonald's for the hot coffee. Yeah, the same person who would have complained if it wasn't hot enough, right?!?

Oh my! And the email I just received the other day. Oh this is just too scary. I don't know if this is true or not but there was a very realistic looking photo attached. Firecrackers - do not place between buttox cheeks and ignite.

We live in a super sue-crazed world today. Alot of people actually believe the only way to get rich is to sue someone!

Sorry - went off topic a bit there but, designsuccess - you might want to keep CYA in mind at all times when working with these candles (cover your a$$)

Do you really need to ask:
You're kidding me right?
You wouldn't know to remove a stick sticking to a tealight first before lighting it??!!
Don't you think most people know to remove a lollipop stick first before lighting a tealight?
Take care,
Anita

Yea, people sue over anything, anytime, and your right, those people whose fault it is, usually win.
Very sad!!
There will be a label on the tealight AND the lollipop stick!

Hi.. its really helpful, for newbies in the business and also people candle makers who wanted to have other idea as well..

about the suing its not a big deal but as a maker of product we always have the responsibility for things that may have gone wrong, so paying attention to even tiny details will do..

it was just my idea anyways.. god bless..

I made some more candles yesterday-lavender (very pretty, springy color) mahogany and sage.
They turned out really nice.
I made the mahogany a french vanilla scent, the sage a vanilla-I should have made it a cucumber melonscent, but I need to redo it, the green-sage color didn't turn out how I wanted it to.
And I made the lavender a fruity scent.
Tommorrow,I'll redo the sage and the lavender, making it darker, and makethe lavender a Yuzi fruit and the sage a cuc. melon scent.
Then use the red again and use cinnamon scent again.

It is so fun and relaxing and you just want to kep going and creating more scents and colors!
I am selling mine at a ladies day event the day before Mothers day.
So, hopefullyI do well.
Then I will make some more soy candlesfor my Farmers Market at the end of June.

Have a blessed day!
