No they are a scam. I have complaints in with the BBB & Attorney General. They claim they pay in advance but then the terms and conditions you have to agree to if you read them state they don't guarantee ANY payment and also states that it will be up to 8 weeks before you receive payment. My guess is they are just trying to get your credit card number and state it's so they can make sure that you have one to complete the trial offers with and then steal it. I have also had Rick from there make some pretty nasty threats to me when I told him I was filing. Also they claim they've been in business for years yet if you lookup their web address on whois.com they just got it June 21, 2008 and it's a proxy which means they are hidingwho their real identity is. I have a PI friend working on locating the original proxy so the Attorney General and BBB can proceed. I would suggest you also file complaints against them for telling you one thing then stating another in their terms and agreements as false advertising.

This individual is not even employed with SecretShoppersRUS.com She is basing all her findings on speculation.

We will be attaching EVERY single email about what was spoken and you, the viewer, can determine who was making threats and such. It is all speculation.

NO, our TOS and what we say does not contradict anything nor does it prove we are a scam. Please, read our contract and ask any questions or concerns you have. We have no secrets. There is a no payment guarantee. She is right. If you read further in the TOS, it states we are not obligated to pay you and states reasons. One of the reasons is fraud. If found of fraud, we will not pay you. If you said to someone you will give them $50 to vaccuum your house and then find out they did not vaccuum your house, would you pay them?
We also do state it may take up to 8 weeks to receive your salary and reimbursement. Even though we tell you, the secret shopper, you are paid bi-weekly and reimbursed in Advanced. Why do we state this? For one, if found of fraud and being investigated, let us say payday is tomorrow. Of course you will not be paid until the investigation is lifted. For if found of fraud you will not be paid. BUT, if everything clears, you will be paid ASAP. Reimbursements are paid in advanced, but you are saying 8 weeks? What is that? Well, we are behind our Secret Shoppers 100% with problems/situations that arise with our clients. One scenario that just happened was there was some miscommunication between ourselves and a client. Resulting in a Secret Shopper being out about $13. We quickly investigated the issue, found it to be an error in our fault, and stated to the Secret Shopper we will 100% reimburse her for the $13 and can do so next payday. We asked if this was ok. She stated yes. Payday was about 10 days away...So, it can take up to 8 weeks to receive a reimbursement such as this. We do send out reimbursements before you purchase anything, however, if a situation develops and ends up being us having to compensate you further, this will be the case and why it is added in the TOS.

Again, speculation: We DO NOT ask for your credit card number! We state a credit card is required because, of course, you are doing secret shopping and one is needed for purchases. We never know your number and would never want it!

Many companies hide their identity. Take DiscoverCard. No one knows where they are actually located/real physical address...only the employees. This is to prevent harrassers and possible threats. Would you want everyone to know where you are located?

We are an online mystery shopping company that DOES NOT ask for a fee to become employeed and we pay our employees through Paypal, bi weekly, with reimbursements sent out before completing a shop. If you have any questions or concerns, DO please read everything we give/send FULLY and email us and ask away.

We will be attaching ALL the emails sent between JKillea and ourselves shortly so everyone can understand the situation and come to their own conclusions. We have nothing to hide. We just want YOU, the reader, to get both sides of the story before making your conclusion. DO NOT base everything off one side. If this is how the world worked, there would be no United States, democracy would never exist, slavery will still be around, the Holocaust will be occurring. If we only looked at one viewpoint, the world would not be a better place. So, please, read everything and base your conclusions afterwards.

This individual is also going to be sent a C&D letter very shortly for her speculations...Again, she is not even employed with SecretShoppersRUS and is filing claims based on speculation.

The emails started with JKillea Sending of her resume, which we replied to and then she responded. The emails are shown based on who replied after so to read what was said in the beginning scroll down and work your way up

<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>

We are getting some emails with some confusions as to how this all started--mostly likely because we just threw the emails up--so we will explain.

The first email sent was JKillea sending her resume. We replied to it. Then, She sent us an email reply asking about the No Payment Guarantee, which Jenny responded. That is what you see in the email below.

The next set of emails after that, if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the second email post, show us asking for her to completely fill the application by signing the NDA. It is an automated response when someone completes the application but does not sign the NDA. She then replied stating she is not going to sign anything until everything is met, which is when she asked Jenny about the No Payment Guarantee and Jenny responded. Rick went and asked if Jenny heard of JKillea's question/situation to which Jenny stated yes and said she wrote a response to her questions. This is why Rick stated he checked and Jenny responded to her email and also to not fill out an application until you are fully committed and ready. The rest is what occurred after this.

Sorry for the confusion.Edited by: SecShop

Jennifer:

There is a No payment Guarantee because if you are committed of fraud or we are investigating your work, of course you will not be paid.

The reimbursement is stated as insurance for us. You are always sent a reimbursement in advance; no one has ever gotten a reimbursement after completing the job since the 3 years I've worked here. I know it sounds bad, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. You are always paid biweekly and you always receive your reimbursement in advance before completing the Job. :)

Thanks,
Jenny

<BLOCKQUOTE ="cite">Jenny,

The terms and conditions state a non payment guarantee and that it will take up to 8 weeks to be reimbursed for offers you sign up for and your $10 an hour salary. Could you please clarify that your in advance statement is correct and that either the terms and conditions are incorrect or that you are modifying them for the position you are offering. I'm am sorry to be a sceptic and think this would be a perfect opportunity for me to make some extra money while still allowing me to be a stay at home mother. I have the optional printer, and I have a credit card that I could utilize only for these transactions and the money you deposited on there would be the only money available on there so I am not worried about fraud in that arena.

Thank you for your assistance and consideration.

&gt; &gt; &gt; someone who has a law program under their belt you sure seem to not
&gt; &gt; know
&gt; &gt; &gt; much about the law. And threatening companies is against the law so I
&gt; &gt; &gt; would hold yourself back if I were you. YOU can be taken to court for
&gt; &gt; &gt; your actions. It is perfectly acceptable to have a no payment guarantee
&gt; &gt; &gt; and state you are paid bi weekly. Banks have it noted that at any point
&gt; &gt; &gt; in time they can not give you your money, and yet they tell you when
&gt; &gt; you
&gt; &gt; &gt; make a withdrawal you will get your money. Are they a scam? No, you
&gt; &gt; &gt; don't see banks being reported for this because this is perfectly

<DIV =msg style=": left; OVERFLOW: auto">No they are a scam. I have complaints in with the BBB &amp; Attorney General. </TD></TR></T></TABLE>

The reason why we are behind the Proxy and why it shows we "started" in June is because in early June a Secret Shopper who was found and committed of fraud sent us plenty of threats. He thenwent to WHOIS and discovered the office address. He then, believe it or not, sent a live bomb to the company. Luckly, we have those mailbox slots so the box was too big to fit, causing the postman to further investigate the box. He showed us the box because it had a return address we did not know, and we were not expecting any packages of those size. We then called the police. The whole building became evacuated and the bomb squad came. Their words to us 4 hours later were "The bomb has been cleaned."

After this, we decided to register the site with a proxy for protection, which started in June of this year.
