<h3>Virtual Program Coordinator</h3>
Program Coordinator- Special Needs Aquatic Program (SNAP) </span> Part-time
position (approx. 12-32 hours per week) for a non-profit organization
providing swimming programs in Berkeley and Palo Alto for disabled
children. Successful applicant must be an excellent multi-tasker, be
able to prioritize multiple needs, and to rapidly shift focus when
needed. Must provide consistent, timely, accurate, and pleasant
communication to multiple consumers. Must have excellent word
processing, Excel, e-mail, and data management skills. This person will
work from home, and must be a self-starter, problem solver, and care
about making our community a better place for all kids. </span> Job responsibilities (partial) </span> • Maintain data on swimmers and volunteers. </span> • Manage semester registration process for swimmers and volunteers. </span> • Produce weekly swimming schedule. </span> • Reserve time at pools. </span> • Occasional visits to pool sites. </span> • Maintain and coordinate volunteer recruitment and training. </span> • Send out applications for each swimming session and track return applications and supporting backup. </span> •
Light bookkeeping (Record payments and expenses, paying bills, tracking
registration payments and scholarships, tracking donations). </span> • Work with staff to coordinate optimal match up of volunteers and swimmers. </span> • Answer all phone and e-mail inquiries in a timely manner. </span> • Work with Director to hold special events (Solano Stroll, Halloween Party, etc.). </span> • Follow-up on grant-writing and fundraising activities. </span> • Opportunities for advancement in non-profit management. </span>
