I know most home parties are probably in the evenings and weekends, but do any of you have daytime (weekday) parties? Mostly stay-at-home moms and such? Just wondering how popular that is.

Hey Christine!
I am with Scentsy wickless candles and tons of folks with Scentsy do basket parties!
No need to set up in someones home...just give them the basket party kit and let them show it at thier leisure for a couple of weeks!
This is very popular with our customers!
Hope that helped!
PM me if you would like more info!

I've only done this a couple of times but they worked out pretty well - the groups were a bunch of SAHMs/WAHMs and they brought their kiddos ...I would just bemindful and keep the party short in length (maybe abbreviate your normal presentation...).

You may even try some Office lunch hour parties?
Just set up a little before the lunch hour and give your presentation while they eat! You could pick up orders later in the week too!

Office lunch hour parties!!!
That's a really nifty idea! I'm gonna see if I can't do some of those once I get started.

You could even offer a pizza party if there are not too many folks in the office! Tax write off as well!

a bunch of our girls have done office lunch parties with LOTS of success!!! :) I have not done them yet since I still have a little guy at home - he goes to preschool from 9 to 11:30... I have done AM parties for SAHM's - like with MOMS Club and neighborhood moms - it worked out very well....just be prepared to be more CASUAL - kids are running around, moms are getting up and down - it's best to have a shorter presentation and just mingle, talk and hang out. :)

I've had lots of success with morning parties...right after the little ones are dropped off at school. I've done them @ 9am, 10am, 11am and have done VERY well with those times. I keep it casual, serve some muffins and they love it! I usually do at least one or two of my own every month at those times. Many hostesses are pleasantly surprised when you offer those time slots. obviously they only work for those that are not in the workplace, but that's when you can do the office parties like mentioned above.

In my business kids can't be there by no means but I have done weekday parties during school hours and they did okay but I prefer a weekend evening sales seem to be better.

Sales are usually better for me on weekends, too. But I think it's because of the nature of our products. People usually make plans to head out on the town after our parties.
I've had a few parties on week-nights, but not many. And I've never done any during the day. Like Crystal said, we can't have kiddos around for our parties. Not even if they are in another part of the house taking a nap!
