Can you change your company website address, for example currently you are using www.miabella.scent-team.com (http://www.miabella.scent-team.com) and want to change to www.soy/vegecandles.scent-team.com (http://www.soy/vegecandles.scent-team.com)?

Thanks,

Sarah

I'm not sure if anyone's done that (or tried - but corporate should be able to tell you one way or the other) although have you thought about just getting a domain name from somewhere like Yahoo (they have specials on and off for $2.99 a year) and make a creative domain name that re-directs to your current scent-team site?

I think I read somewhere they do not allow you to change unless you make a typographical error.

Personally I would just buy a .com and have it redirect as most people do!

Hi Sarah,

I would also just purchase a domain name and redirect it to your scent-sations site. It is alot easier to do and also easier for people to remember.smileys/smiley2.gif

hello fellow Mia Bella distributors! I have a question now regarding the soy content in the candles. If there is so little of this ( and how much is there) then what do we call them? Just Mia Bella's?! And if asked what they are made of?

Hi Mary,

I do not think anyone knows how much soy are in our candles. Well with the exception of Lynn, Charlie and Bob. When talking to people, I tell then that they are gourmet candles that are veggie/planet based. That seem to do it for most people around here!smileys/smiley2.gif

Many blessings,

Natalie

now thats a great deal! I am working on my personal website and now that we are talking about domain names, I have to ask this.

Is my website name the same as my domain name?! And if not, why do we need the domain name? Do we have to have this in order to get a website up and running?! Am I confusing all of you!?

Mary...your domain name is your website name....ie...www.bamasweetscents.scent-team.comi s my real site name...I bought a .com to get rid of the scent-team.com so now my site is www.bamasweetscents.com (http://www.bamasweetscents.com) You do not have to buy a domain name....most of us have them, because they are easier to remember than the scent-team.com I hope that makes sense.

When you are making your personal site you will buy a domain name...or it will come with your webhosting.

hello fellow Mia Bella distributors! I have a
question now regarding the soy content in the candles. If there is so little
of this ( and how much is there) then what do we call them? Just Mia
Bella's?! And if asked what they are made of?

Mary, here's what the company has to say about the soy issue:

Is Mia Bella a 100% soy candle?
Our original formula was 100% soy but we found that soy was NOT the
best ingredient to develop an alternative candle from. The reason is that
100% soy does NOT hold enough scent to create a strong scented candle.
When we designed a strongly scented soy candle we found that scent
actually rose to the top of the candle forming a puddle at the top.

The proprietary formula we currently use is a formula specifically
designed for our candle's needs (clean burning and also strongly scented)
and is comprised of vegetables and other natural, renewable resources.

In our opinion, although soy has the benefits of clean burning and warm
water clean up, our blend has those benefits PLUS allows us to make the
candle one of the strongest scented candles in the market!

--I describe them as an all natural blend of vegetable and other
renewable, non-toxic materials. Truthfully, soy falls into that category
and who knows how much soy protein or product is or isn't in our
candles? I'm sure Carmen will take that secret to the grave!!! smileys/smiley2.gif
