I plan on taking the oDesk readiness test today. Did those of you that have taken it found it to be easy or difficult? Just curious....

I just realized that the software we have to download to test and/or work for them has a feature that can take screenshots of our computer. That makes me pretty uncomfortable. I don't know if I feel comfortable with them having access to my computer. What is the purpose of that??

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm a little hesitant to download it. Yet there are some great job leads on there so I'm torn. I don't know much about it at all so it will be interesting to hear what others have to say.

I did end up going ahead and taking the readiness test after all. It wasn't too bad.

I think the only time they can take screen shots is when you have the program open (to log your hours worked) and are working. From what I read on the "readiness" test it seems as though the only reason they do this is to verify that you are only working on the project instead of doing other things and logging that time as time worked.
