boy or girl? What are their interests? Usborne Books has some very cool books on things like art, crafts, the war, dinosaurs, astronomy, animals.
They also have activity cards like 50 Secret Codes and Cooking Cards that make great gifts!

I can make some suggestions from Discovery Toys. We have some great toys for that age group. Not sure if you are looking for a girl or a boy but some things you might be interested in are our Puzzle Island book, Super Give It A Whirl, Juggle Toss which are great for boys or girls. We also have other great products in that age group as well. If you are interested let me know

If boy, you could give some portable gadget like PSP or Nintendo DS. But for girl , i suggest Cooking or Barbie.

A Bike will do just fine if he dont already have one.
I don't mean a 10 Speed Bike or what not.
Get him something FUN and Exciting like an "Electric scooter" or the like....
Boys would Love something like that.

Most kids specially boys nowadays are thinking about gadgets, so if he can't afford to have one try to give something like PSP, while girls are easier to please, most of them are fond of stuff toys, while some loves to to wear nice dress..

Most girls like to dressed up, so why not give her one? For guys and if you're generous enough i'd go for a gadget too... smileys/smiley20.gif
