HI ladies!

I have a few questions about Mia Bella. I already know a woman who is a distributor/team leader, I met her at a few events this fall, so if I decide to join I definately want to join with her because she is a nice person and I want to join her team, but I do have some questions and I figured I would ask here since there seems to be so many pro's on this board!

I see the cotm club pricing and other starter kit pricings on the website, but my questions are:

HOw much is shipping and handling? How many candles are purchased at once, can you get one or two, or do you have to get them by the case? How soon do you earn off a downline? Are there quota's one must meet in order to get commission from downline, as in would I need to sell (or buy) a certain amount in order to receive a downline commission?

Thanks to anyone willing to answer these questions!!

I have emailed the woman I know from MB but haven't heard from her yet, it was only this morning, I figured I could get some answers here. Thanks again!

-Kat

Hi Kat!

Joining MB would be a great decision! And you're asking some great questions, so I'll try my best to answer them.

Shipping and handling are dependent on where you're located relative to Wilkes-Barre. Once you join, you can go through the order process online to see what S & H would be (without actually clicking the order button if you don't want to).

As a distributor, you can order candles in amounts of 6 or 12. A customer can order a single one or two off of your website, though. Pretty much everything else can be ordered in singles, except votives which can be orderd by half dozen.

You can earn off a downline as soon as you have one!

There are absolutely NO QUOTAS at all to earn your commission - the only requirement for commission is to remain an active COTM member. In my opinion, that's one of the best things about MB. However much you sell and however small (or large) your downline is, you receive what you've earned!

Hope you decide to join us - it's a great group here on this board!

Hi Debbie
Thanks so much for your reply! You were very helpful.
I forgot to ask about catalogs I think. How much are they how often do they come out with new ones, etc?

Thanks again I really appreciate it!

I just wanted to add to this that the jar candles can be mix or match scents. You don't have to buy 6 or 12 of ALL the same scent. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

Catalogs come in a pack of 50 for $10. Once you're a distributor, you'll see that they are often on special in the "Specials" area of "Online Ordering" in your backoffice for buy one pack, get the 2nd half off. So... then it will be 100 catalogs for $15 when that's running.

They usually come out with a new catalog seasonlly. 3-4 times per year.

Hope that helps... http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

Hi Kat,

Glad I could help. The catalogs are $9.95 for a pack of 50. I think, though not sure on this one, that they come out with new ones once or twice a year. I like to tell my customers that the catalogs are never really 100% up-to-date because "we come out with a new scent every single month!" Then they go "Wow, really?!" and I send them to my website. Works every time!!

Right now they have the catalogs on special too - two packs for $14.95. It's a good deal.

Again, glad to help.

Hey, Kristine, thanks for mentioning that about the candles not having to be all the same scent. I forgot that part!

thanks so much ladies you are all so helpful!

I just came across info on the bella bars and am interested but have a question/concern.
It lists lavender oil an an ingredient. Is lavender oil in every bella bar or only the lavender scented ones?
Lavender gives me the worst migraine EVER. I simply cannot be near it for even a moment or else i get a 4 day migraine. I know its weird because lavender is supposed to ease migraine pain but for me it is a killer...

Any input would be great! I am looking forward to using the bars, or having my son use them (sensitive skin, adhd so in the shower he is all distracted, i figure one bar to wash and shampoo gives him less things to fool with!!) but if they all have lavender i wont be able to have them in my house or handle them at all.

thanks!

Hi Kat,

I'm home on a "snow day" today so spending lots of time on the forums! I LOVE snow days!!

Anyway. I just went and checked my Bella Bars (I have a basket of them in my bathroom that we use and sell!) and the only one that has lavender oil listed is the Grapefruit and Lavender one. The others have other oils, but not lavender. So I think you'd be safe.

You're right, though, it is strange that lavender oil GIVES you a migraine. It's one of the oils I keep on hand all the time for my headaches.

The bars come in a plastic-type wrapper, so when you get the lavender Bella Bar in the COTM package, you wouldn't have to actually handle it at all. And they sell pretty well for me!

Keep those questions coming!!

I bought a lavender product once (from origins I believe), and you dab it on your body before bed.

INSTANT headhache for me too, thoughI have no problem with the Bella bars.
The Bella Bars are awesome, as are the candles.

The shipping is reasonable. The products are bought at wholesale prices and the mark up is very good.

The great part is you can earn on a team from your first team memberwithout your personal minimum going higher than the COTM.

Actually, the whole company is "the great part" to me. American made candles that are just the best !!

Yup, I agree too, Deb (from another Deb!)!

I always say it's "one of the best things" about MB because that was the final thing for me that made me decide to join. Many other DS companies have quotas and minimums that seem to me to be hard to maintain. But I love everything else about the company too.

I'd never burned a MB candle till I got my first COTM and then I was HOOKED!! I love 'em, and so does my family. And the fact that they're American made is icing on the cake smileys/smiley14.gif!

Have a great evening, all.

Debbie

Yep! No monthly quotas and you don't have to build your business soley around parties! You can do parties if you want, but it isn't a requirement. Matter of fact, you're free to build your business any way you choose - which is part of the attraction of being in business for yourself in the first place.

How cool is that?
