Can you ladies answer these questions? Mia Bella websites are very nice with some basic information but I still have more questions as a potential buyer and/or seller.

1. How do people order? (online/fax/phone)

2. I didn't see the prices online. Where can I find that information?

3. If a customer orders through me, will the company ship directly to them or would I need to pack and reship their order?

4. Is it $40/mo retail to be a distributor?

Okay, I think that's it. smileys/smiley1.gif

Hi SingleMommy,

It is nice to have you here. I hope that I will be able to answer most of your questions for you.

1. Customers order directly from the a Scent-Sations rep. We currently do not have ecommerce from them to order directly from the company. Distributors on the other hand can order from the company by fax, online ordering, or phone.

2. Distributor set their own price for their inventory. The company does have suggested retail prices for all the product but you can change them to suit your area.

3. You will not to repack their order unless doing a fundraiser. If that is the case, the company will dropship to them directly.

4. Yes and no. There is alway an Associate Distributor that is a free option. You will pay 30% more than COTM member but still gives you access to the product without the monthly expense.

I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Many Blessings,

Natalie

1. How do people order? (online/fax/phone)

For now, people order directly from the distributor, but VERY SOON we will have online ordering - YAY!!

2. I didn't see the prices online. Where can I find that information?

Do you want retail or wholesale prices?

3. If a customer orders through me, will the company ship directly to them or would I need to pack and reship their order?

The company will dropship - but we can only order jars in cases of 12 - so unless a customer wanted 12 - you would have to send them yourself.

4. Is it $40/mo retail to be a distributor?

To be distributor - its $39.95 plus shipping - and you would be a Candle of the Month member. For that money each month - you would receive one jar candle, 12 votives, a soap bar, and a free website.

Let me know if you need anything else! You can call too!

Can you ladies answer these questions? Mia Bella websites are very nice with some basic information but I still have more questions as a potential buyer and/or seller.

1. How do people order? (online/fax/phone) They order directly thru you, email orders, I use paypal and send invoice...or if you do home shows etc. We will have retail sites soon!

2. I didn't see the prices online. Where can I find that information? Each rep makes their own prices. I sell all mine at suggested retail :

For ex. Jars 18.95 each.

3. If a customer orders through me, will the company ship directly to them or would I need to pack and reship their order? Right now orders are shipped to you, we do have min of a case order for jars that is 12 jars mix and match. Then you repack and ship to customer..I charge for shipping to my customers.

4. Is it $40/mo retail to be a distributor? 40.00 is for the candle of the month to be a distributor. You are buying at wholesale prices and marking the product up.

Okay, I think that's it. smileys/smiley1.gif

Hi Single Mommy,

Congrats in your decision to learn more about the opportunites available
to you with a Mia Bella Gourmet Candle Home Business. I can tell you,
that this is my DREAM JOB!

While trying to decide if this may be the right choice for you, here are
some things to ask yourself first, then your potential sponsor as you
interview some of us!

1. There are 3 ways to make money with our company. Retail,
Fundraising, and Residual Income. Which one(s) will you focus on with
your business- which are right for you? If it is retailing, which ways?
Home parties, Office parties, Craft shows, consignment in boutiques and
spas, etc?If you plan to sponsor and build a team, what methods will
you use? Online? Recruiting your warm market? Purchasing leads? Etc.

2. What are your most important needs and requirements of your
Sponsor? What are your expectations from the Ideal Sponsor, and what
type of commitment are you looking for?

3. What resources are you looking for to get you started? How much
money do you have to invest in startup, and how can you maximize
success with the amount you have to invest so you can grow your
business and create profits quickly?

4. How much time do you have to commit to your new business? How
much of that time do you want to work with your sponsor? What amount
of support/time does your Sponsor have for you, and will (s)he help you
put together a business plan to maximize the amount of time you have
to put into your business each week?

Answering these questions and making it clear what you want in a new
business will help you to make the most informed, best choice both in
whether this is the right opportunity for you, and in choosing a business
partner who will be the best possible Sponsor and coach.

Good luck, and keep those questions coming!

In all you do... CHOOSE Success!

Hey Ladies,

Thank you all for your responses and PMs. I have alot to think about and Mia Bella does sound like a great company. smileys/smiley1.gif

Kitt - those questions are very important and I'm going to use them to help narrow down what I would like to do but candles are definitely a hot item and I love soy candles

Glad to be able to give you something to work with while making your
decision! Don't forget to compare the compensation plans and profit
margins. I'm not bashful to boast that I think Scent-Sations has the most
incredible, most competetive opportunity avaailable in network marketing
right now.smileys/smiley2.gif

Good luck with your research, and feel free to PM me if you'd like to
schedule a time to chat on the phone to go over your options and get all
of your questions answered.

Of course, be sure to ask away with your questions here on the Bella
board too- we're all experienced in various areas and will give you a well-
rounded sense of what's possible with this great home business.

In all you do... CHOOSE Success!

Hi, Single Mommy! I see that you said that you loved soy candles and I wanted to let you know that actually, our candles are not "soy" candles. We have a proprietory formula of vegetable wax and other natural materials. There is no paraffin in our blend and we only use 100% cotton wicks. We have the same clean burning and water soluable benefits as soy, butour blend allows the fragrance tohold longer throughout the life of the candle. It is also why they burn a long time. You should try one and see what you think, if you haven't already. smileys/smiley1.gif Good luck!

Now that is interesting Debra. I had thought the candles were soy. Either way they are clean burning which is good because I don't like cleaning up soot or having to think that my children may be inhaling it.

I though of one other question:

Will I need to do alot of home parties or direct sales in order to make a decent part-time income?

I work outside the home 4 days a week and also make another decent income on online 'ventures'. I would like to eventually work strictly from home but not unless I have a steady stream of income from another source. Being a single mom of a couple babies, I can't put all my eggs in a basket or find myself spending more on product than I can actually sell.

Not at ALL! One thing I reall liked about Mia Bella was the fact that I didn't have to have home parties! There are so many other ways to make money with this business!!!!!

SandyMilton

Margey is absolutely correct - they are not just soy, but a custom blend of waxes which are veggie based (can include some soy) and beeswax I believe - they have found with the improved recipe, they have a better, higher scented, cleaner burningcandle than they did with their old formula. And not to be overlooked is our Incredible line of SOYsational bath and
body
products- truly unique, and WONDERFUL!

I am a huge home made soap person, so I was excited to try our Bella
Bars. WOW- they are so creamy and yummy.. and the lather is exquisite!

I was skeptical about the whole "use it for shampoo" concept, but when I
finally decided to give it a try, as always, Scent-Sations delivers on their
product! I have always been a slave to conditioner, but with our Bella
Bars, I don't need it anymore. Now the only items in my shower are a
Bella Bar, our Body Wash, and a bath scrunchie.smileys/smiley17.gif

Our bath & body products are a continually developing line, and I can't
wait to see what they come up with next. I hope it's a luscious soy lotion
in some of our yummy scents! Wouldn't you love a fresh apple or sweet
orange and chili pepper body lotion?smileys/smiley20.gif

Home parties are def helpful if you can andl like to do them. They are not required..maybe just host a few online parties, they are fun and profitable. If you would like more info on online parties let me know, I have held some.

Goodluck!

But seriously, I really got a lot of info from this thread. Before I signed up, I was thinking MB's were all soy as well.

As usual, Bella girls, you have it all under your thumbs.
