Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me find some reliable companies that hire IC's for data entry. It's actually for my husband who is trying to find some extra income. I'm already a seasoned WAHMer. Any information you guys have would really be appreciated.

Data entry is pretty hard to get into. Try www.odesk.com (http://www.odesk.com) they've got a ton of listings for data entry...some you have to have experience, others you don't.

Just be very cautious about any data entry opportunity that tries to charge you an up front fee. If they try to charge you money, most likely it's not legit.Edited by: danasurvey

DionDataSolutions is accepting applications right now. Must be able to type 60 wpm.

there are a bunch of companies hiring for home based data entry. Despite their many listings all over the net, they aren't always hiring. They'll accept your application but won't necessarily be hiring at that time.
I gave up applying for them, despite my high data entry speeds, I was never contacted.
I started at Guru.com, its a freelancing site. I got a lot of data entry and administrative related projects and it just boomed from there. They have TONS of projects in the administrative area and they pay a lot more than ODesk, unfortunately that site caters to overseas employees by paying extremely low hourly rates.
I gave up applying for them, despite my high data entry speeds, I was never contacted.
