We have an excellent
opportunity for a part-time Accountant to join our team. SmartTurn is a
fast-growing software company based in Oakland, California specializing
in on-demand inventory and warehouse management solutions.
We
are looking for a skilled accountant to join our team. This role
reports to the CEO, works closely with clients, vendors and internal
staff and is essential to our success.
This opportunity offers a combined SmartTurn office and telecommute flex work schedule averaging 24-50 hours per month.

<ul> Manage Quickbooks application including: G/L ,month-end close and reconciliation utilizing GAAP standards Streamline existing accounting processes and reporting functions Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reporting Process Semi-Monthly Payroll Develop internal accounting policies Conduct system and file internal audit Review and track expenses and capital purchases for budget vs. actual comparison Ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed[/list]
Minimum Qualifications:

<ul> Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years experience in a similar position Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel and QuickBooks required Proficiency in MS Office Suite Must be detail oriented Good oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills Must be self motivated and able to work with limited supervision Ability to work under pressure of deadlines, and be able to handle
high volume of work in a fast-paced environment, and must be able to
prioritize multiple tasks[/list]

located in Oakland, CA with very convenient access to the 12th Street
Oakland City Center station. The company is pleased to announce it will
be moving its headquarters to San Francisco at the end of Q4 with
access to BART, CalTrain and Blue & Gold Ferry lines.
