Hi,
I'm a new fragrance designer from NJ. I've always been interested in the Urban Botanic opp and finally joined yesterday when I saw the $99 kit.
I have always been an extreme candle burner going through boxes of large apothecary candles constantly. My eyes were opened to what I was doing to my home when we began to fix up the house to sell. I had no idea how much sooty buildup had accumulated over the years. So I went cold turkey on the candles and started with those electric plug-ins. It's still just not the same. I miss the strong fragrances from my candles and recently began burning some candles. I am so hesitant to burn them though because of the soot. I was surfing the net yesterday and came across Urban Botanic again. When I saw the $99 offer, I couldn't resist. My gosh, I can barely wait to give this a try.
I am looking forward to mixing up my own fragrances. I would just love to find a combination that's close to any of the Victoria's Secret fragrances. IB Floral!! I always say that I'm a single scent lady. I love the smell of just lily of the valley, or plumeria, or lilac. I also love the clean herbal scents too. Not sure what it is about Victoria's Secret, but I love the smell of that store and those fragrances.
So how have all your shows been doing in this economy? I do like the money saving appeal of the fragrance oils vs. the candles.

Welcome Chris. We are so glad to have you.
Stats show that in a down economy that direct selling industry thrives, so all should be well for us.
I can't speak for the others, but I am doing fine. I had a customer call me 8-10 times between Wed. night and last night. She ordered over $300 for Christmas presents. She went to family's for Thanksgiving and when they heard what she was getting them, they wanted to order or to change what she had choosen. She is on her way to Idaho today to another family, she took her cell phone- I am waiting for the changes that are going to come with this trip http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif
Use the helps that McKenna gives us and you will be fine. Check you virtual office, listen to the daily calls and be on the weekly calls as well, and you will be fine. Not to mention how wonderful all the fragrances are! December's Scent of the Month- wonderful!!!
