Has anyone used this? What did you think?

I am almost finished with my first bottle and I love it. I used to go to tanning salons but I thought I'd give the self tanner a try....I can tell you that it gives me a nice golden tan. I like the fact that you spray it and it's not a lotion alot too. Since I've been using it over the winter months I can't tell you how it will be come warm weather -- that's the only thing I'm anxious to see....we have a lake house and got boating and jet skiing often -- i don't want to have the water make my "tan in a can" come off and leave me spotted all over. That would be so embarrassing!! So....I'll keep you posted as the warmer weather draws near -- but if you don't get in the water often -- I can tell you that it does give you very nice color!

I have used it since it came out. I am very pale and have tried others.. I hate sitting out in the sun and it isn't good for you.smileys/smiley9.gifPlus I get red if I don't have lots of sun screen. I used it before my cousin's wedding in July 2004.. ahhh loved it!!!! I was so pale and need to look good as I am very fair and she has such dark tones. I love it.. can't say enough. I have my hubby help me put it on so I don't have weird patches on my back. smileys/smiley9.gif smileys/smiley5.gifIf you do get a dark spot (which only happend to me in the begining as I was learning) My upline said use a little lemon juice and it will help.

Good luck!!!

use sea salt scrub first on thick skin like your elbows, ankles and knees...

what I do when I use it is to have a wet washcloth with a little cleansing gel on it ready for when I'm done...

then I apply the self-tanner and instead of washing hands (very hard to do without ruining backs of hands and fingers) I use the wet washcloth to get the lotion off of palms and inner fingers and between fingers

cassandra -- have you had any problems with the tanner coming off when in the water for an extended period of time? BTW-thanks for the tip on the washcloth -- the backs of my hands were never the same color as my arms because I wash "washing" the tan right off.

no, I used it last summer at the beginning of pool season and didn't notice any fading from the pool

I have been reluctant to use the self tanner because I was nervous I would be orange. I think I will add this to my next order.

I personally LOVE the self tanner. I was a sun bunny before, and know that while tanning is not great for you,I love the look and feel of tanned skin! Isn't it funny how tanned skin always makes people lookhealthier?!

I agree with the other post about making sure skin is exfoliated well...and just be careful when applying. The self tannerhas the best ingredients (as you would expect from Arbonne!), and leaves yourskin witha healthy glow...it looks very natural. I also love that it does not feel sticky or cakey afterward, but rather that you have applied something healthy to your skin!

So far, no one has commented on the smell. So many other self tanners that I've come across have stinked, but I haven'tsmelled Arbonne's?

How is it?

Good question. And can you use it on your face?

I agree with exfoliating before using. Not just on your knees, elbows, and ankles, but all over. I usually wear disposable plastic gloves.

We used to do TanToos. We would buy a little stencil from the craft store. You can use the self-tanner on the stencil area only, or cover the stencil with tape and tan around it. It's a lot of fun!
