Don't the RE9 products and the bio hydria have these?
MyLittleRiley

Yes we have AHA's. Lactic Acid is a AHA. It is not bad for the skin, it helps remove the dead skin cells. The only concern I have when using a AHA is to wear sunscreen.

I did a search for it at Arbonnes Product Knowledge and nothing came up. I looked throught the ingredients for the bio hydria and Re9 and didn't see it.

Thanks, now...is there an all natural daily moisturizer? Not corrective. Now that i feel like i haveirritated my skin badly.I tell you what, i used an alpha hyd. 'acid' in a face cream..not Arbonne. A different brand. I am so disapointed. It has made my eyes look BAD. I have three times the fine lines i had...and i only used it for a week. At first....it felt great..now---horrible. I acutally had better luck with the ole' Ponds Face Cream. Main ing. was mineral oil too. What is up with that?

This was on the website under the RE9 on the 9 ingredients in it:
8. Alpha & Beta Hydroxy Acids: Activate healthy cells while diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I guess i have very sensitive skin(under my eyes). I am going to have to find a cream with out that acid. That was the first time i had ever used anything at all "corrective". It was hard to find a regular face cream moisturizer at the store; with ingredients that i could understand. I had always used the Ponds. smileys/smiley5.gifEdited by: CarrieRevel

AHA ingredients may be listed as:

glycolic acid

lactic acid

malic acid

citric acid

These are the most common AHA's.
Carrie - I tried to PM you, but it says you have gone over your maximum limit. If you want, I can send you a sample of our RE9. There are different ranges of AHA's, it is supposed to stay under pH 4, our skin in normally pH 5.

I found this on the Arbonne website as well as in the catalogue. The RE9 line definately has AHA's in it.(See #8).I think the Basics Line might be best if you don't do well with AHA's

Carrie, did you have any headache's?
CarrieRevel
01-26-2006, 07:23 PM
Not really. A slight headache, but i am sure it was just and is just hormones. ? Does that stuff sometimes cause headaches?
MyLittleRiley
01-26-2006, 07:33 PM
If you are allergic it can, but that is with anything. I get headaches after eating chocolate.
CarrieRevel
01-26-2006, 07:39 PM
That is so funny..chocolate..the good kind...Dark...acutally helps my headaches. You know dark chocolate is supposed to be real good for you. I heard on Oprah that milk chocolate is not really chocolate. It is primarily cream and sugar. Maybe you should try the dark and sweet.

I saw the same show! They said to buy coco, the real chocolate.
I love milk chocolate but I always get a headache. I will learn one of these days.smileys/smiley1.gif
