Hi all..I am usually on the wahms who write board.

I'm part of a new small network of wahms who have set up a work group for the purposes of referring overflow work to each other and referring clients as well. We have content writers, marketing specialists, virtual assistants, and some other knowledge-workers. I'm a grant-writer. We'vejust had Delisa from this board join us as a creativity consultant.

We've decided that we need to recruit a couple of attorneys and accountant wahms to join us, both to take referrals when our clients need such help, and to help us as we barter with each other in building our growing businesses.

The network spawned here off of the Virtual Assistants board and you can read the original thread there just to verify the legitimacy of it. There are now 46 members and we plan on capping it at 50 for now.

So to be clear, this is not an offer of work as such, but a recruitment for a couple of wahm attorneys who are:

entrepreneurial-minded

want to be part of a growing co-op and participateregularly on the forum

team-spirited & willing to barter and swap advice with other wahms as we build our various businesses
[/list]

For any attorneys who are interested, I would hope that eventually there would be paid work and good referrals coming your way.
In the interim, our hope is to keep strongly focused on bootstrapping our way to success, and the important of pro bono work and bartering to help other wahms succeed too.

I am at lwmurphytx@aol.com if you are interested. Think of us as a very diversified business organization full of knowledge workers with fewpaying clients yet. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

If you are reading this and are not an attorney but are a specialized consultant whose work would appeal to small (and large) businesses and you would like to be considered for membership, feel free to email me also, and tell me all about you and your services.

Take care all and I wish you the best with your wahm-ventures!
