Hi, my name is Melanie, and I'm new here. smileys/smiley1.gif
Right now I'm working full-time, but I really like the thought of becoming a WAHM. I would love to build my own business, have an income, but still be able to be with my kids. I'm seriously considering Arbonne...mostly because I'm fairly familiar with the product, and also have two very good people close by who could help me get started - a DM who lives a couple of doors down, and a NVP who lives the next block over from me. I was wondering about what is involved, and what advice any of you whoalready have Arbonne businessesmight have. TIA! :)

Hi Melanie! Well, my first advice always is to try the product! Since you have, thats a great start! You need to truly love what you sell so people can see that passion! Next, I would meet w/ either the DM or NVP near you and make sure you click w/ them. Are they interested in what YOU would want from YOUR business, or are they pushing a big inventory? This is a new thing going on in Arbonne w/ a few consultants, and it worries me a bit. If you can make a bigger investment, then great! It is easier to start your business w/ lots of product to show and for personal use. But I think some consultants are not looking at the individuals needs and only thinking of the big volume boost it would be. So, I would definetly talk w/ them about how much time you would be able to put into your business, whether or not you would like to do parties, or one on one approaches, let them know how much money you would like to make, and go from there working on the best plan of action for you!
It is a wonderful company with wonderful products to use and sell! Good luck! You will find great info here!

I have to agree with the previous post. When you love the product your excitement shows through- and it is so important to believe in the product you sell. I have never seen another company that provides so much in education and personal development opportunities which is another thing I love. If you are serious about building a business- they provide you with everything you need to grow- you just have to take advantage of it. I build my business mostly with parties- that is where I feel I can reach the most people and share how much I love the products and what they've done for me. I'm also a full-time working mom and working hard to grow this business so I can be home with my family! I'd love to answer any more specific question you may have if I can.

Lucky for us, since this topic was brought up in 2006; Arbonne is alredy in UK for over 3 years and is expected to launch Ireland very soon. I am building my business with that extraordinary product line and have a very good feeling about company's and my future
