Hi, I need people for research, marketing and copy for my business. My question is what is best way to set up this type of relationship? How much should I pay? How do I track hours and/or units of work? How do I make sure I get someone who will provide a good service and provide my money's worth?
I currently have a lady working for me who works from home. I pay her per hour that she is on the phone (tracked by call logs) plus a commisson on my sales, this works pretty well, but it definitely took a lot of thought and trial and error to set up.
The things I need done now are stuff like:
* Complie list of e-mails of property managers in my area.
* Compile list of e-mails of fleet managers in my area.
* Do up nice looking flyer for gutter cleaning
* Do up nice looking flyer for auto detailing
* Complie professional sounding e-mail to property manager
* Design professional looking business cards
Or even better:
* Implement e-mail, mail and phone marketing campaign to commercial customers. Get paid a percentage of sales or profit.
A lot of the stuff I need done now is marketing for my auto detailing company and my new pressure washing company. Most of this stuff can be done on the phone and the computer so I feel like there should be someone who can handle this type of task. There is a lot of potential money as well when targeting the commercial clients. I feel like this can be done by someone working from home more efficiently which would cost less for me, and be good for that person or people because their quality of life is enhanced by being able to work from home on a flexible schedule. I'd really like to pay a small hourly amount, but have their main earnings be generated by commissions. That way the right person would be motivated to innovate and be creative to do the best job possible.
