I'm new to the wahm boards and have been readingyour posts for a few days now. So far, I'm impressed with your compensation plan andthethree opportunitiesfor MBdistributors to earn money. In particular, I'm interested inthe residual income avenue as I would reallyenjoy building a strong team right away. What's my next step?

Welcome Danielle!!
You have found a wonderful board for WAHM!
Mia Bella is a fantastic business opportunity and thecompensationon ourcandles for retailing is 50% and residual income starts at 10% from your personally recruited distributors. What I like best is you don't have to haveso much in a month inretail sales to receive that monthly commitment like most companies require you to do!
If you decide this is what you want to do, find a sponsor that you click with and talk about what your next step should be to join our company!
I hope you find what you are looking for and enjoy your next step with Mia Bella!

Danielle,
Start talking with some of us on the phone!
Keep in mind that you are essentially interviewing to fill a
position- your new BUSINESS PARTNER!
Make a list of questions to ask, and begin meeting some of us
in person to find out who you relate to and who can offer you
the support you need to build your business the way you want.
Have fun and enjoy the process.

Phone calls are always good, although do what feels best for you. If you would rather have e-mail communication - not only to keep track of what was discussed, but maybe that is just more comfortable for you (time wise if you tend to have busy moments), then by all means, contact via e-mail! It's about YOU and what is right for YOU smileys/smiley2.gif
And finally, WELCOME! You've made a great choice to check out this fabulous company!

Best of luck to you in picking a sponsor. Don't rush into anything as you will be working with that partner for quite awhile. Remember we are here to help!

Hi, Danielle! Picking a sponsor is a big decision. Good luck and welcome for choosing our wonderfulcompany. I won't PM you because I think you are already getting a wonderful response from everyone. I just wanted to repost what my thoughts are on sponsorship.
I thinka sponsor is someone who will be able to answer your questions, help with ideas, and motivation. Ultimately it is your business and you can set your goals according to what is comfortable to you. Be sure to pick someone you feel comfortable with. I don't believethe sponsor is what makes yousuccessful,YOU make yourself successful. (no matter what they may promise you now) Your sponsor is there to help train, motivateand support you. I think many of us on the board are very good trainers, motivators and I know we support everyone. We are allworking our businesses.
Good luck in yourdecision!smileys/smiley1.gif

Danielle,
You have no doubt heard from some awesome business builders right here.
Here are some things to ask yourself first, then your potential sponsor as you interview -
1. Of the three ways of making money with Scent-sations, how do I place those in order of priority for me? Retailing, and if so, in what way? Booths and shows, home parties, office parties, etc? Team building, and if so, using what methods - warm market, "lifestyling", internet, leads, etc.
2. What is most important to me in a sponsor? What is the value and commitment you are looking for? What are your expectations of your sponsor?
3. What resources are you looking for to get you started?
4. How much time do you have available? How much time does your sponsor make available?
etc. Getting clear on what you want and the direction you are headed will go a LONG WAY toward ensuring that you make a positive decision all the way around.
Good luck!

I sent an email to you, but honestly I would look at all the options available to you rather than someone close to you. There's a many of great ladies around here to speak with. :) You need to shop for a sponsor and find out what is in it for you, not for them.
Goodluck!

Jennifer,
I am new to MB also, but what I have found in direct selling is that...I would have to agree with choosing a sponsor not based on their proximity to you. My sponsor is in WI and she is great. I also have others that I deal with from another company and they are all no where near where I live and they all have more of an impact than someone who might be closeby. Goodluck finding your sponsor. I know you will love this company, I already do. Best of luck.

You are quite right Kim, although it would be nice to have your sponsor close by because there are extra benefits involved, it's not a necessity.
The good thing about this forum among others is we all come here to talk, share ideas, and learn from each other. It is an invaluable tool among all the other tools we have. Take advantage of the knowledge of many to increase your knowledge about the company, products, and ways to sell smileys/smiley17.gif
