I just rebuilt my resume on careerbuilder (not much to it because I have only worked in grocery) and I instantly recieved an email from someone in my area for Aflac. He said that he read through my resume and has been very persistant at getting me to come in for an interview on Wednesday. The first couple emails I wrote to him were questioning him for more info on the job and what it consists of doing. Up front fees? Commission only? And he said that there were no fees and that it was not commission only. He would not give me anymore info but wants me to come in for this interview. Since I can work from home this would be a great opportunity but honestly, without more information on the position im kind of uncomfortable coming in for an interview. Does anyone work for Aflac? Is it as good as it seems? What is the position? Any info would be great. Should I take this interview? Edited by: gavensmom

If you are willing to go door-to-door and network to get sales, then you'll go ok. It's commission only. Unless you're a sales type person, it's a really hard job. Most people I know who have done it, have quit. It's tough, why they alwasy hire.

I did got a call from them, but I can't afford the license and the classes they have to offer! So, I had to turn this offer down!

Go to AFLAC.com and check out the careers info. You can sign up as a career agent where you receive training or just get an appointment to AFLAC so you can stay independent
