can some one tell me what the average cost of a Santa Letter Business kit cost?
Everything that I have seen it like $50 or more for a kit. Is that the right price?

Lorrie,
In my opinion, that is a bit pricey. Of course, I started from scratch and have done everything myself. For me, that's been a lot of the fun.
What all comes in the kit you are looking to purchase?

I would get a few samples of each of these letters from
Santa and the Toothy Fairy.
Down loadable stationary for Christmas and the tooth fairy.
I also would get this
Start up program that would show me how to market my business, places to advertise, and list of suppliers. Also a pricing worksheet on how much to charge for the letters.
This one was something like $39.95
I am not sure what all I would need to have to start a business like this. Do you have any pointers for a newbie?

hi
i also did not pay anything close to that. I was able to find someone on here that had a e-book and some samples. I created my own letters, bought stationary, and supplies and marketed on my own. As for suppliers you can easily do a google search

Thanks. Could you point me in the direction of reputable suppliers? I always hate buying from companies I haven't dealt with.
Another thing how do you figure out what to charge?
Do you actually send your letters to North Pole, AK or did you buy a post mark stamp and then just send the letter to the parents to give to the child?

I use imageshop for stationary but i also found soem reasonable packets at office max and staples
I do not send my packages to the np but i use a santa workshop with my address so if any get returned it comes back to me
As far as calculating what to charge it depends on your cost and what you want to make

By Santa Workshop do mean
Santa's Workshop
your address
your city, state and zip
As for pricing I guess I will have to figure out exactly what I need to get and then do my pricing. I am not looking to get rich I just would like to make some extra money for Christmas.

keep in mind depending on the number of them sold your profits could range from 25.00-a few hundred
my first year i only made 50 above what the costs were
I am hoping this year is different
good luck
