I averaged around $100.00 working about 15 hours. Sometime the checks were WAY lower (by $50 or more). You can't set a budget on the pay from Ver-A-Fast. It is very up and down.
They do slow down. It seems like the call sample gets "overcalled" when they do, which is where the bad checks come in.
This job takes a lot of patience. They pay wasn't worth the aggravation. The only thing I wish I would have done differently with the job was quit sooner.

I agree i wish i had never applied. I never made the 150/week that I was practically guaranteed in my interviews. It was a hassle, headache, and just not worth it.

What does "practically guaranteed" mean? Did they tell you it was possible? If so, that's the truth. $150 is possible. Did they tell you it would happen every week? Doubtful, since they know that so much of a verifier's success is up to that verifier. What time do they call? Do they always use their rebuttals? Are they quick during wrap-up? Do they keep control of the conversation? Are they willing to go to webinars and learn the tougher calls? Do they ask for Credit Cards when they're supposed to? There's no wayan ICC would know that about a person when they interview them. Therefore, it's highly unlikely that they would "practicallyguarantee" anyone any amount of money.

Listen, I am in no way, a negative person. I only wish to let other WAHM's like me who's time is priceless. I am only sharing MY EXPERIENCE with the company. Yes, I was guaranteed $150/week per following other company standards, which I always did. Yet, it never ever paid off. If you choose, you make google it and find alot of others that have been through the same thing. I am not sure if you work for them as an ICC or the corporate level, but to each his own. This is what i endured with this company. I will say again to my fellow WAHM's BEWARE.
Thanks

I feel the same way. I wasted my time with them and that's why I will continue to post in this forum, to let others know.
Carolina, you've been with VAF for quite a while and you're still doing phone work? Why haven't you moved up in the company? There has to be some position with the company that shows they appreciate you.

I haven't moved up for a couple of reasons. #1 is I like working from home. I enjoy not having to go into an office every day. More importantly, I don't relish the idea of a 600 mile commute each day :)

I can understand the commute. Even for me living in Ohio, I live 4 hours away from the office. So unless you're willing to commute to the office you don't move up. If only they offered management work at home right?:)

Hi , all , been a minute since i posted on here , have just been browsing and reading and see that the same ol same ol is still taking place , but anywho , just wanted to see how is everyone doing at tihs present time in your life and work , hope all is well with everyone , i see there are several new people so goodluck to you as well , in response to the guaranteed pay , welllllllllllllllllllllll, just to add my one cents (not two) , i was informed the same thing , that i wouldnt be making no less than 150 per week and that i was going to make lots and lots of money , and yes i was all excited like everyone else , so let me say this one thing to those who are new to the forum , feel free to speak your experiences and please TUNE OUT THOSE who constantly knocks every little thing you say or do , IF YOU LISTEN TO THOSE PEOPLE YOU WILL FEEL EVERYTHING YOUR DOING IS WRONG!!! and its NOT , follow your inner self , yourown mind , and always feel free to ask for help or speak out, there are certain ICC'S IN HERE that will have an EXPLANATION FOR EVERY SINGLE THING YOU SAY SO BEWARE!!! and they will tell you that everything your doing and saying is wrong !! SO PLEASE IGNORE THEM TO THE FULLEST AND IF ITS NOT FOR YOU , THEN YOU BE THE JUDGE , DONT LET ANYONE ELSE DICTATE THAT FOR YOU , on that note , have a blessed night and goodluck to those who just started.

Lol. If you think people should be their own judge, then why tell them to ignore ICC's who post here? Shouldn't they decide on their own who they want to listen to?
Besides, you don't even know that any ICC's post here. I don't know if they do or not-and neither do you. So please don't state your opinions as facts.
But I do agree that people should read both sides of the issues and then decide if this job is right for them or not. It's right for plenty of people; it's not right for plenty of people. Just like any other job.

Ver-a-Fast is a sweatshop company and their hideous "pay structure" not only proves it, but shows how ver-a-fast controls how much a verifier can make ! Make no mistake about it, they will keep you in a certain earning framework because they are out for THEIR profit only. I critically evaluated ver-a-fast and found that for verifiers to make a decent paycheck, ver-a-fast needs to automate the call coding process ! then pay verifiers a competitive, guaranteed hourly rate to make it worthwhile their time. I am saying this because I tried ver-a-fast back in September and after evaluation ditched the whole thing 3 days later, it was not worth my time, effort and time investment. Hard copy newspapers will be a thing of the past before long anyway, most people read their paper online and the numbers increase daily.
However for those who are interested, please read on:
I am surfing on 4 paid surf programs and average about $75+ profit per day surfing about 1/2 hour tops per day, 7 days a week. I cash out every 2 weeks and one cashout would take me - guestimating - 1 month+ with ver-a-fast if not more for this same amount, that is, with the "grace" of ver-a-fast !
You can still make calls for ver-a-fast if you want to, but in the meantime, start building yourself a nice earning well with making money on paid surf programs.
It's all up to you ... nothing ventured nothing gained !

Lol. All that based on 3 days "experience". No offense, but I'll take your opinion with a very large grain of salt.
You tend to overlook one "minor" detail in your evalation. The company gets paid by the result. The more yeses and contacts they can bill a client, the more money the company makes. So why in the world would they want to keep anyone in a "certain earning framework". The morecontacts we make, the more money the company makes. Your assumption just makes no sense at all.
The one thing I agree with is "nothing ventured nothing earned". It wasn't for you. That's fine. But it works for me.

Think what you want. Call me a sucker. Call me "enslaved". Doesn't matter to me at all. I'll happily take my slave chains and drag them down with me to the bank each week when Icash my paycheck. All I know is I would never presume to judge a job or those that choose to do it after only 3 days.

Quote your bible verses all you want (although I notice you didn't quote the "judge not lest ye be judged yourself" verse). The fact remains thatyou quit after 3 days whichmeans you hardly gave it a chance. Then you keep putting down those of us who are making money here-and that's the part I don't understand. You didn't like it-no biggie. It's not for everyone. But why not move on? You're starting to act like a girl who has dumped a guy but then gets upset if some other woman likes him.

I agree! And, I've been in this sweatshop company for almost 1 year.
And, I've taken the least calls a week, and I've taken the most calls per week ---- the pay is still ridiculous. It truly is terrible.
I've been with this company long enough to know that it truly is a sweatshop.
Then why are you still working there?

Her complete explanation, would be in the thread I Hate Working For Verafast, same reason I stuck in out for one year, the recommendation, and a strong work ethic. Otherwise, I guaranteee she wouldn't have stayed.
