Hi,

I have tried Arbonne products in the past and really liked them. I see they now carry mineral makeup, what is your opinion about the mineral makeup? Does it cover pretty well? Does it stay on all day?

Thank you smileys/smiley1.gif

I like it and use it daily. I have oily skin and at the end of the day my face would be shiny. Not any more! The coverage is great and it keeps the shine away all day.

I have had allergic reactions from many make-ups.

When I found Arbonne a few years back - i was SO excited.
It worked! I have faithfully used their eye make-up until recently.

I do not like the new eye pencils and the prices seem to keep going up and up..I was a bit shocked on the prices the past year especially. It has been a turn-off as I thought their products were good....but since other companies have come out with Mineral Make-Up, I started looking around.

Mary Kay, came out with Mineral Make Up, and I am SO excited it is about 1/2 th3 cost. I was a bit leary at first (as I don't typically use their brand) - but am HAPPY.

i think that their products are just as good as quality from a consumer - and 1/2 the cost so I will probably switch to Mary Kay.
I just couldn't justify spending $20 on a eye pencil and about $15 on a eye shadow.

So, I never was a Mary kay user until this summer - but now will quickly be switching over because the product quality as good in my books (and 1/2 the cost which is a great value savings).

I use the mineral foundation and love it. Its the same coverage as the liquid foundation. It feels like AIR! Its gorgeous. And itcomes with a nice, big brush!

Its like $22 bucks after the discount, and even for a thrifty person like myself, it is WELL worth it!

I *LOVE* the mineral makeup. And if you use the primer first...it is even better and the coverage is fantastic. It stays on all day and looks natural. I think someone mentioned that it is around $20-$25 after the discount and it is totally worth it. Since you do not use very much of the product when applying - because the coverage is so good - it lasts quite a while. I think my current one has been in use about 3 months and is just starting to get down there.

Also, the products are all botantically-based, which is better for your skin than other companies' products that contain talc and other harsh chemicals that - over time - contribute to the aging look of your skin.

HTH!

I haven't heard that talc is aging, but I do know that it oxidizes so the color will shift. This is why mica is a better choice for mineral powder makeup and eyeshadow - it won't turn white or orange and colors stay true

We aren't the only ones who use this, but I know for sure I love our version!

I have heard that talc enlarges the pores and keeps them from easily shrinking down to a normal size.

Could be wrong. But I have heard that.
