Pre-Book shows now or create a list of those who said 'maybe later'.
I know that home office has traditionally done a great promotion for hosts in January -so perhaps we will get lucky again?
Amy, your consistent and intentional business now WILL result in future business. It will be a matter of bookings off of bookings and continued customer care.
Of course, you can always add additiaonl incentives if you are in a pinch and not meeting your personal booking goal - like an extra 5% in hostess credit with $300 show and/or perhaps doing something to promote catalog shows, etc.
I traditionally start booking January shows in November. I then start booking Shows for February in early December (if early February) or I wait till after Christmas.
My Jan-March business can be just as strong as Oct-Dec if I make those calls.
